my U-Haul experience was honestly atrocious. I swear up and down that I will never use them for any type of moving van rental ever again. U-Haul did try their best to fix all of the errors (it was multiple) that they made but then an official (a higher up/ maybe a manager or regional director) called me to pretty much point fingers at me and said the reason why all of this happened was my fault. Horrifying

Don't intimidate the customer don't make the customer feel like if the vehicle is not back by a certain time that they would be punished I rented at 5 p.m. U-Haul dealer told me I must have it back by 11 p.m. in my opinion extremely rudely.
I came to this location because the location on Broward Blvd had me extremely upset, I reserved a 26 footer 2 weeks ago and had to change the time of pick up twice because of unforeseen circumstances, the whole moving situation was horrendous as is and the cancelling of my reservation without a call or text was too much.....I was told that no location in Broward had any trucks and would receive a call in 1 hour when a truck was returned, on my way home I remembered this location and the wonderful customer service that I received and decided to take a chance to see if they had an available rental.....and they did. Thank God!!!!!!
Very unprofessional and he over charged me on mileage very disappointed in the quality of his work will never come back!

It was not what I am use to since we have full service UHALL location in Georgia. The original location was fine but transferred to Ft. Lauderhill which was a bit sketchy and had a hard time understanding the representative. Product however was excellent.
there was a hole in the glass door to drop off keys.
wasn't really sure this was the right place, but haven't heard anything about the truck not being returned, so all is well.
The trailer was infested with ants. The staff was slow.

Excellent customer service
First I was given the incorrect truck. I was called ten minutes after leaving and had to bring the truck back. The second truck I received was disgustingly dirty. The back had never been swept out, the cab was a sticky mess. The passengers side mirror was broken and I had to suspend it with a bungee cord.
Roach infested, bad customer service, trucks with no gas. I will never in my life use uhaul again at this location.
I was charged for an extra day because I was 20 minutes late getting there. The return location was not easy to find. It doesn't even look like a Uhaul location.
The trailer was full of broken glass & not clean. The trailer leaked when it rained ruined our belongings. The reservation we made a week in advance was not honored. This was a horrible UHaul experience. The trailer was very danaged and too old.
Japo is nice. But the charging of my card. Smh. My total was 170. 00 uhaul pulls over 400 out of my acct. And states I have to wait 5 days to get my refund. Wtf. Seriously?

I was never offered a walk around the truck or to check the fuel and it was never discussed I was given the contract and asked to sign, I was being rushed out the door and the man taking care of me was also on the phone and not truly going over anything with me. I cannot argue the gas amount as unfortunately I just took the truck and went about my move. I was told just close the truck and drop off the key which I ended up doing because they had stepped out of the shop the next day when I came back, I was never made aware of any fee if I didn't bring it back with the same amount of fuel on top of the higher than normal gas price. In all fairness I didn't have an opportunity to put in any fuel however I don't believe the amount they say I used was accurate, my complaint is in regards to the fee which was never mentioned. I wasn't even able to go back and complain as they were not in the shop and I was on my way out of the country. My account was overdrafted due to the fee and I found out when I came back home. I called them and basically their response was to call the 800 number. I called and was offered a call back which hasn't happened and it's been about a week. This has not been an acceptable experience.
The location wasn't the issue howevee thw u haul company was very very poor my vehicle wasn't delivered and the rep was rude

Mr. Japo was very friendly and accommodating and went beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the services.
I don't believe this had anything to do with the operator of the location. He mentioned that this truck "had been assigned to us". The truck had over 100,000 miles on it. The seats were uncomfortable, and there was a constant loud whine noise emitted the entire 250+ mile trip. Had to wear ear phones on a really loud setting to drown it out. Also, had a really bad front end shimmy when you hit 65 miles per hour.
Will not rent another u-haul truck because of this experience.
TV was so loud I could not hear the man behind the counter who was more involved with his cell phone than helping me. Pointe to the truck and said that's it. Nothing else. Store had no supplies so had to endure dealing with a person who couldn't care at all at another location. Not impressed at all. Truck's transmission did not shift properly,
The rental clerk was courteous. Fast check out and return. Equipment was ready when I arrived.

when I picked up truck it was brand new and I informed agent that it registered 19 miles on the odometer. that night someone smashed the driver side window and the police gave me a case #.I informed my agent and he told me to return the truck to the local area depot located in pompano beach. I did so and they in turn told me I had to return to my original agents location this put an added 26+ uneeded miles on the truck and the agent did not have a replacement truck so I ended up still using the same truck when I returned the truck I was charged for 96 miles use when it should have been only 51 miles use I feel that I was given improper instructions by uhaul and feel cheated by the way I paid for the insurance but was charged an added one hundred and fifty dollars deductible ron shilton fort Lauderdale fl
Our last couple of interactions left us a bit leery of using UHAUL again, but Japo Auto Parts did a great job of easing that. The truck had been meticullously gone through, including the maintenance. Great experience!
I returned the truck with a full tank but on my receipt that was emailed to me it shows a different amount which is incorrect. It was not clean when I got it, dirty pillow was in the back but I just took it out and put it inside the office and I swept it out. I rented from this location before and did not have a problem but this time I am not happy will let my mother and sister know not to return. If I knew I would have went to a location that does not bill me twice for the same day. The male told his wife to put until 4 p.m. she told me a different time. I stopped put the gas in the truck so I got there a little after 4. Will never go back or recommend them.
This location advertised 24 hour drop off, however the address was a storefront in an area where we did not feel the trailer would be secure and we had no real way of securing it. We had equipment in the trailer and we could not lock the trailer. We had to return the next day which presented a problem for us. The office was very cluttered.
I was pleasantly surprised, considering that this was a small business, BUT ...This person was so accommodating, and i was assured and talked through my process that was new to me .... I can tell you I definitely will be using him again ... Thank you sir ????
The service was great I would use them again.
Parking lot is unrealistic for a non-professional rental truck driver to safely and effectively park a truck, let alone a truck and a trailer. Customer had to not only park the trailer, but unhitch it from the truck. Despite going above and beyond to park and unhitch the trailer, the employee complained that trailer was not parked to his satisfaction. Employee also complained that stickers noting prior damage on truck were not placed exactly where he wanted them. This was literally a matter of two inches or less.
In short, very aggravating and frustrating experience. One which I will never repeat.

Customer service - the location was cold and univiting. Felt like we were inconveniencing the man at the front desk when we walked in.
I thought that the price to rent the 19.99 truck was great however, the initial price was 67.00, and then the actual cost was 87.00. I was shocked to see my card was charge the extra money. Why do you advertise 19.99? Also, the truck cab smelled horrible, you should clean it.
The truck we reserved was not available due to another customer not returning on time (if at all) but after waiting an hour another truck showed up from Uhaul's people (on a lark). None of this was the owner's fault. Owner was friendly and even made some time saving recommendations that helped make up for the hour long wait. Let's see if Uhaul makes good on their 50 dollar "on time" guarantee.
i will tell everyone i know never go there stay away from that place, owner did not talking to me, no question ask and he charge my credit card for something i did not know about, i did not used, this is the worst place to be, terrible customer service it's something must be report to better business bureau....
he is not offer you the service if you want it, it's simply add to the contract to make money, when you call he is refuse to explain why the additional fee is about...
The person who processed my order was very demanding and forceful trying to have us purchase insurance for the truck. Also, upon return, we replaced the gas in the truck however, they charged us $20 saying that the gas was returned way below, which was a lie. The corporate office had to give us a refund for the gas after logging a complaint.
A group of young men, outside at the adjacent storefront, smoking pot did not lend itself to a safe feeling. Out of uhauls control, as the location is part of the strip mall. The manager was professional and helpful. Suggest moving to another location or advising the lessor of the congregation out front (using the location as a party area.) that evening at 545pm.
Every thing was excellent. Service. And The truck.
