The crew was extremely communicative throughout the process. They reached out the day before to let me know that an accident involving some of their crew would delay our original arrival time. They continued providing updates throughout moving day, including a 30-minute heads-up before arriving. Unfortunately, U-Haul appeared to significantly underestimate the time and manpower needed for the jobs assigned that day. Our move involved unloading two full U-Boxes into a fourth-floor apartment with only two movers initially assigned. They ultimately arrived about six hours after our original time and were clearly exhausted, but worked incredibly hard for about three hours to complete our unload. A few items were inadvertently left in our building’s entryway and on another floor that we retrieved afterward. I really appreciated the crew’s hard work and excellent communication under difficult circumstances largely outside their control.
