• Gregory, the owner of Sutton Movers ,was very unprofessional and not Sutton like at all . At the end of the third hour that I booked he called me and said he’d have to make the movers leave because I only paid him for 3 hours . Well the job wasn’t finished and I was gonna add an additional hour to pay him through u haul but he told me it won’t be added till the next day and he needed to be paid right there and then. So I had to pay him directly in order to keep the movers. Fortunately the movers were not gonna just leave me hanging which made my experience a little less stressful but I think something must be done with the way the payment is going to the owner of the company so the owner doesn’t look as desperate and aggressive about receiving his payment. After all it’s not my issue. I felt very uncomfortable and threatened about being pressured to pay . Super unprofessional. I’ll never use this company or u haul as third party company to hire moving help again .

  Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that the payment portion of your move caused stress. That was never our intention. For moves booked through U Haul service is required to stop once the prepaid time has been reached unless additional time is secured. In some cases U Haul does not process same day extensions immediately which can create confusion. To avoid leaving customers without help we may offer the option to extend directly so the crew can continue working without interruption. I apologize if my communication made you feel uncomfortable. That is not the experience we aim to provide. I appreciate you acknowledging the professionalism of the movers.
