• I felt really bothered. I’d just moved from UT to AZ this morning and really needed help. Given I’d already booked through UHAUL I thought hiring help through the company would’ve made my transition seamless. I scheduled a 5pm 2 person help just for unloading to my apartment. My items were not cared for. My Uhual upon opening it for the movers was orginized and I gave specific direction and didn’t even make them do all the work I assisted with a lot. My dresser was brought to me broken. The movers had ONE dolly (luckily I had pitched two with my uhual) and weren’t efficient. When they left they told me there was a few items in the back of the truck. (It’s evening ) I go down to make sure the unit is shut and all my belongings were thrown towards front when the were nicely placed upon my arrival to AZ. they left with the back of the uhaul open and my items out in the open for whoever to claim. I just was disappointed.

  Domonique, I am sorry your first day in Arizona was stressful. Some context for anyone reading. You booked Friday for same day service with a 430 to 5 window. We confirmed 515 in advance and you approved it. We were hired to unload only. We did not load, pack, or secure the truck in Utah. The dresser had screws working loose, not a break. You rented two dollies and our crew brought a third. Partway through, you asked the crew to prioritize the larger pieces at the back, which meant moving items in front of your dressers first. Your unit was on the fourth floor. Hallway, shared elevator, four floors, another hallway. That route drives the time, as you saw carrying items up yourself. You reserved two hours and told us you were not adding time. The crew worked past that mark, told you what was left in the truck, and you said you would go down and get the rest.
