Movers over three hours late. Company rep was lied to me about the situation and I spent my morning arguing with a woman named Rachel about resolution of the problem. Movers who ultimately arrived were untrained. Had no idea how to carry boxes and furniture without injuring themselves or damaging items. No idea how to use a dolly. Three pieces of furniture damaged. Movers were lazy, slow, distracted, and put more effort into trying to scam the moving company and me (asked me to pay them cash directly several times). One of the guys was wearing a court issued ankle monitor, which came off during the move and he spent a good bit of time trying to reach a probation officer about the problem. Meanwhile, the company tried to upcharge me in the middle of the move an hour before the three hour allotment was even used. No acknowledgement of the inconvenience, etc. to me. Employees are 1099 employees, so not even affiliated with company. Beware of these unprofessional, unethical scam artists.
