It actually worked just as described. Very pleased that it met my expectations. Genius idea.
It works, but it seems quite rickety as nothing fits tightly. I would not dare strap the canoe onto the loader for traveling purposes as it seems to me to have too much give in all directions. When using it to load the canoe, the vertical sections move and I worry they will break after some time.
Makes loading and unloading my cedar strip canoe much easier. Works as advertised. Shipping was fast. Product description was not specific as to whether the rotation is supposed to happen at the top (near canoe) or the bottom (near hitch). I was under the impression it would rotate at the top, however, it seems to want to rotate at the bottom for me.
The product is not big enough to load a canoe. And was missing the carry bag. Ive emailed twice with no response.

Someone stole my ball mount and it had the bottom portion of this unit attached to it. Can I purchase just the part that attaches to the ball mount?

What is the maximum width adjustment on the crossbar? What is the height adjustment on the pole?
Support Bar (cross bar) adjustment - 15" to 23-1/4" / Height adjustment - 40" to 5' 5-1/2"
I have a jeep wrangler with a rear nounted spare...will this come out far enough from the receiver to clear the spare?
"The ball mount length must exceed the measurement from the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of the spare tire. For additional assistance on selecting the correct ball mount, please visit your local U-Haul center."
What else do you need to tie the canoe down to a older model car 1981 with a chrome bumber, both to attach to the bumper and to protect the top of the car roof (el camino- with a aerodymanic camper shell, so line of the roof with camper shell is not flat and no roof rack on it currently of course, any ideas or thoughts on putting a canoe on that?

Is there a hitch extension where I can have this further back from my suv so canoe rides further back and not over front of hood? My suv does not have tie down hooks on front bumper.
