This item came in a timely manner…however…the hitch that was scheduled to be in stock and installed on Tuesday the 20th did not happen. The service install was scheduled for 7am. When the employee opened the door he was clueless as to why I was there. He did not know of the service order and when he went in the back to check for the hitch they did not have it in stock. Apparently he was never notified of the scheduled service. He is still looking for a hitch…I leave on Sat for vacation without being able to bring our bikes. When I called customer service…she found a hitch and suggested that I go pick it up and bring it to my local store…and not only pick it up (a 2-1/2hr drive one-way) I would need to purchase it…I have already purchased it when I set up the service online…she told me that I would still need to purchase another one and my local store could refund me??? This is an issue…and it is not okay

It's fine but it does fit rather loosely and makes me nervous watching my bike rack on the back of my SUV

Haven't used it yet. Appears to be of good quality. Will have to cut the tow vehicle bumper to use it as the hitch receiver is behind the bumper and too high.
Hi ... I see a few questions re: Class I .. What I, & I think others may want to know, is many Class I Receivers have a Stopper inside the receiver shaft. My Hitch Stop has a distance of 422mm or 1.65354 Inches, between the Hitch Stop inside the shaft, to the centre of the Hitch Pin hole) ...
Can you please provide Measurement from centre of 1-1/4-inch receiver Pin hole to the Trailer Hitch insert base ..... Just need to be sure it will fit without any grinding needed etc ...
Hi PJ! Sorry for the delay. To answer your question, the measurement from the end of the 1/4" shank to the center of the 1/2" pin hole is 1-1/2". I hope that helps! Have a great day!!
Will this work with a class I hitch? All adapters I am finding so far will only fit a class II adapter
Hi, Raymond! This adapter fits 1-1/4" receiver hitches. Thanks for asking!
Can you tow a small trailer with this?
Hello, Eric! No, this adapter cannot be used for towing. It can only be used for small accessories such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. Thanks for asking!
What pin would you would you recommend for the 1.25" to 2". Extends 6" or the 1.25" to 2". Extends 10"? Please advise, thanks!
Please use U-Haul 1/2" diameter pin & clip part 3130 and 5/8" diameter pin & clip part 3131.
Is this adapter designed to be inserted into Class I hitch receivers?
The 350 lbs rated adapter converts an 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to a 2" opening. Please note that your hitch system (receiver hitch, ball mount, ball, accessories) is only as strong as its lowest rated component.
What is the weight limit of this adapter? For accessories? Not towing.
