The price of $39.95 for hand truck is for how long? Day, week, month?

–mshechter1@hotmail.com 2/21/2014 7:00:49 AM

The $39.95 price is not a rental price, it's a purchase price. For details on hand truck rentals, go to: http://www.uhaul.com/RentalItems/

Is this a good dolly for going up to a 3rd floor aspartame? Is it good on stairs?

–Erin 9/21/2014 12:36:00 PM

"It depends on the item you will be taking up the stairs. The heavy duty tires make it easier to climb stairs, but if it is a large item that's hard to control, you may want to look into renting an appliance dolly from a U-Haul store."

–Ronald 9/25/2014 3:02:26 PM

Is this dolley good for bringing a refrigerator down some stairs?

–Frank O. 11/8/2014 10:38:28 AM

I strongly suggest this dolly NOT be used for moving a fridge. Please rent an appliance dolly or purchase this one: http://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/Moving-lifting-tools/Appliance-Truck?id=15915

–Ronald 11/10/2014 8:15:38 AM

I live on a 5 th floor walk up, and want to move out a large dresser.Would you recommend this product?

–jazzy 12/11/2014 12:01:27 PM

The heavy duty tires make it easier to climb stairs, but if it is a large dresser that's hard to control, you may want to look into renting an appliance dolly from a U-Haul store that has a strap to secure the item to the dolly or purchase this one: http://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/Moving-lifting-tools/Appliance-Truck?id=15915

I just went to buy one of these and they don't have this green one with pneumatic tires. They only had a smaller red one with hard rubber tires. How can I get the one in the picture?

–Nick 9/28/2015 8:23:09 AM

The hand truck sold online is slightly different from the hand trucks sold in stores.

If you want the green one with pneumatic tires, you would need to purchase online and have it shipped to you, and not picked up in store.

–Joseph 9/28/2015 11:58:11 AM

how much does it weigh?

–Sid 12/7/2015 8:13:23 AM

29 lbs!

Thanks for asking.

does a rental dolly come with the renta of the truck

–Jodi Jenkerson 10/4/2017 7:55:40 AM

Hi, Jodi! If you make your truck rental reservation online, you will be asked during the process if you would like to add dolly rentals to your reservation. This particular utility dolly currently rents for $7 USD per dolly, per day. If you rent a truck directly from a U-Haul center, let the associates know you would also like to rent a dolly(s) to use with your truck. I hope that is helpful!
