I have never had so many problems with U-Haul. This location called me on Saturday and told me where to drop the truck off on Sunday. They told me where to drop the tow dolly and they wanted the truck dropped off in a different spot. So I drive out there and Where they wanted me to drop the tow Dolly is a fenced in gated area that is locked with a padlock. So that was not possible. The lot was impossible to navigate with the truck and tow dolly. This U-Haul center is apparently run by a towing company. While we two women were attempting to dismount the tow, dolly and push it to a location that it would fit, and employee drove by, started yelling at us and spit tobacco out at us. Additionally, they two added on a separate safe move tow dolly insurance fee since we kept it for two extra days. We are getting another truck to complete our move from North Carolina to Vermont next week and I will absolutely be going with Budget.
CRISTY OThe truck shouldn't have been left in service, the previous renter should have said the door was broken because it was broken when they shut it, also if that was them that did that front damage looks like they hit a bridge or something, hard. You'll be able to investigate and see using prior rental completion pictures. But I'm not very happy, I wasn't able to pick up my load cause the door wouldn't shut so it was a wasted trip.
