Clarence Vicent is Named MCP of U-Haul Company of Detroit

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (Feb. 12, 2018) — Clarence Vicent has been named marketing company president of 754, U-Haul Company of Detroit.

U-Haul Area District Vice President Bill Rains and Executive Vice President Frank D'Abarno made the announcement.

“U-Haul is a wonderful organization and I have always had strong leadership to guide me during my career at here,” Vicent said. “I have worked with great people from whom I have learned. I will take that knowledge and use it to help this remarkable team move forward while continuing to focus on our primary service objective.

“I am ecstatic to take on the role of 754 MCP and to be a motivator for the team of great people that make up 754.”

Vicent’s most recent position was general manager at U-Haul Moving & Storage of New Center (754024). His tenure at U-Haul has included stints as a field relief manager and area field manager. Vicent began his career as a customer service representative in 2009.

“Clarence took an established, well-run store and elevated it to an even higher level of performance,” Rains said. “His success is reflected in the atmosphere at his store and in the attitude and performance of his staff. He is energetic, personable and knowledgeable. I am confident that he will take an already successful marketing company to new heights.”
