U-Haul of Hendersonville Expands Storage Options with New Property

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (March 16, 2016) — One of U-Haul Company’s newest stores in North Carolina has completed construction on its showroom and is pleased to offer a full-service facility to customers at 1500 Airport Road in Hendersonville.

U-Haul acquired the former Affordable Mini Storage site Sept. 31 and boasts 600 storage units, including 30 climate-controlled units, available at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hendersonville.

“This is a great area and the community knows U-Haul is a dependable, family-run business,” general manager Scott Grubb said. “We are a place where residents can fill all their moving needs and much more. It’s a place customers can depend on to be a fixture in the community.”

Customers can rent trucks, trailers and U-Box portable moving and self-storage containers, and they also have access to moving supplies, towing equipment and hitch installation, propane and more.

“This is a great location on a cut-through road from downtown to the interstate,” Doug Weston, U-Haul Company of Western North Carolina president, said. “It’s surrounded by apple orchards with some of the best apples on the East Coast.”

The largest festival on the Hendersonville calendar is the annual North Carolina Apple Festival, culminating in the Apple Parade that regularly draws up to 50,000 spectators.
