U-Haul Offers 30 Days of Free Self-Storage to Tornado Victims in Western Massachusetts

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (Feb. 27, 2017) — U-Haul Company of Western Massachusetts & Vermont is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents who were affected by the tornado that touched down on Saturday night.

The EF-1 tornado knocked out power and left many homes damaged. Winds reached up to 110 mph.

“Most of the damage took place in Conway,” U-Haul Company of Western Massachusetts & Vermont president Jim Blair said. “As a strong member of these communities, U-Haul is happy to provide a safe and secure place to store belongings.”
