How do I use the rear door latch on my moving truck?

We, like Tom, want to make sure our goods are safe and secure when we’re headed down the road. We often find ourselves extremely busy when we are moving we overlook the smallest of tasks. When it comes to the rear door latch, it’s important to make sure it is opened and closed properly so we do not run into any issues to make a normal move more stressful.

When you open or close the rear door latch, remember 3 simple words Release, Rotate, and Secure. These three words make remembering all the steps a breeze. To open the door, first release the safety latch that is holding the handle in place. Next, rotate the handle until it is completely open. Finally, secure the handle against the safety latch on the opposite end. To close the door follow these steps again. Release the safety latch, rotate the handle, and secure it shut. U-Haul has taken an extra step to show you exactly how this is done to make moving easier for their customers. On the rear bumper there is a QR code that will take you a short video explaining this process on opening and closing the rear door latch.
