From the main dish to dessert, these recipes for your summer cookout will cover every base, all you need to do is fill up the propane tank. Enjoy!

Main Dish

In true summer soiree fashion, something classic like chicken on the grill is the way to go. It’s an affordable option compared to steak, and is more healthy than beef hamburgers. This video from provides the ultimate guide for grilling your chicken breasts.

Special Sauce

The secret to great chicken on the grill is in the sauce. This special recipe comes from our friends in the East at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Birmingham.
Grilling recipes

3/4 c. ketchup
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 T. brown sugar
2 T water
2 T. Worcestershire  sauce

On the Side

Since the weather is warm, guests will crave something light and cool to refresh their taste buds. This pasta salad is a winner (not just because it has all of my favorite ingredients). It gets 4.5 stars on and, although light, still packs a flavorful punch.

Sweet summer recipesSweet Treat

The dessert is a great opportunity to have some fun! Festive treats are fun to make and fun to eat. Since it will be warm outside, stay away from any desserts that are also warm. But, it doesn’t mean it can’t still be decadent. As a huge chocolate fan, I think there is no season that isn’t good for chocolate. But, this tangy and sweet fruit dessert from Tokyo Desserts blog will keep everyone, even the chocoholics, next to the dessert table.
