Kickoff the Football Season with these Grilled Favorites

Football fans all around the world are celebrating because kickoff for the new season is near. So what is your meal going to look like on Sunday? Make sure your propane tanks are filled, fire up the grill and pick one of our best grilled items to munch on:

Chicken Wings

Sure you could do them in the oven, but why would you when you can do them on the grill? Grilling them gives them a crispy outer shell and you can baste them with your favorite sauce. The oven can sometimes make them softer so if you prefer crispy, the grill is the way to go. Not to mention, the grill always gives a delicious smoky flavor that can’t be replicated.

What’s a football party without pizza? Put the phone down and try an at-home pizza. All you need is a pre-made pizza crust and whatever your favorite toppings may be. Place it on the grill until the cheese is melted to your liking and enjoy. It is not quite a wood burning pizza oven, but it gives the pizza a similar flavor that blows your average delivery pizza out of the water.

Grilling corn might not be the most creative use of your grill, but it sure is the perfect go-to meal. Dress it up with your favorite toppings. Some of my favorites are cheese, mayo, butter, lime juice and hot sauce.

Whole Chicken

It is not just chicken wings that can make a great grilled meal. The whole chicken can be used! Just the use the Beer Can Chicken Roaster and you can infuse your whole chicken with your favorite beer or beverage. You will get a perfectly golden chicken with a unique flavor you can’t get any other way.

If you want to get a little more adventurous, try grilling oysters. This is perfect for the guests that love seafood, but might not be ready to jump into raw oysters. Just sprinkle some lemon juice and garlic on them once they are on the grill. This is a perfect recipe to shake things up a bit.
