Here we are in the middle of March, all rooting for our favorite Basketball teams to score big time in the 2015 NCAA Division. During this time emotions and tensions run wild — It isn’t call March Madness for nothing! So, as you aim to prove to your friends that your team is indeed the best, why not get a little crafty with those leftover moving supplies of yours and make your own sports bracket!
What You’ll Need:
- Cardboard Moving Box
- Paint, Paint Brushes, and Mixing Bowl
- Packing Tape
- Protective Foam
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue
- Box Cutters
- Rope or Twine
- Scissors
- Black Marker
Step 1:
Using box cutters, cut your cardboard into your preferred size and shape of your sports bracket.
Step 2:
Decorate and label sections of your sports bracket accordingly. Plan out what you want your final product to look like before you start gluing things onto your sports bracket.
I chose to try and make mine resemble a basketball court, using the rope to create net-like brackets, the blue foam and brown packing tape as markings on the court, and painting on a decorative basketball.
Step 3:
Get into the March Madness excitement with your new DIY sports bracket and watch some basketball!
