Ingredients Needed:
- Six boneless pork chops with a pocket cut into the middle
- 24 slices of bacon
- 4 gala apples
- 1 red onion
- 1 cup of Gouda cheese (shredded)
How to Make Pork Chops:
Step 1: Dice up apples and onions
Step 2: Saute diced apples and onion together until they are soft
Step 3: Cut a pocket in the middle of pork chops
Step 4: Take the shredded Gouda and the sauteed mix of apples and onions. Use this to stuff all six pork chops.
Step 5: Take 4 slices of the bacon per chop and wrap the pork chop.
Step 6: Barbecue the pork chops on indirect heat for 45 minutes to an hour or until grill thoroughly cooks the bacon apple chops. The internal temperature should be between 135 and 145 degrees.
