This is in response to the fraudulent charges on contract number 97553154. Just letting you know that is my full intention to go to Bosque County on Monday June 28, 2021 to file fraud charges on the business at: Car Connection, 17140 N IH 35, West , Texas 76691 and U haul in regards to fraudulent charges to this Uhaul Contract. Quite honestly, I am exhausted from talking with hourly employees that cannot give me a straight answer on any question.. It started with changing the drop off location. I got over that and your representative gave me extra miles to cover it, which would have been good, but then after returning the truck on June 23 , 2021 at 2:30 PM, the dealer where I returned it to at Car connection did not turn it in until Friday june 25, 2021 at 8:22AM, and then proceeded to charge me an extra 3 days instead of 1. Basically the U Haul customer service rep said it was too bad, but there was nothing they could do about it. I guess the Bosque County DA can probably do something about it. There is a lot more to this that has caused this frustration by U Haul this week, but my time is limited today. I just thought you might want a heads up. I do have a witness that I returned that truck at the time I have stated. At this point, U haul just needs to refund everything on this transaction, but I know that is not happening. We live 4 miles from this location. It was convenient as far as proximity and enough space to drop-off the 26' truck. However, the a U-Haul rep was not onsite during business hours to answer our questions. Once home, we were called by UHaul looking for the truck. This person called to get confirmation but had to leave 2 messages on business phone. I called and left 2 or 3 messages through the day at the phone number listed for this location. Never received a return call. I had to go back through all of my emails and texts to find out if the truck was even recorded as "dropped off" along with confirmation on fuel tank level, mileage, condition of truck, etc.DAVID DANIEL V.

I was overcharged. I specifically did not select insurance and it was added illegally. I called and waited 45 minutes for an agent who supposedly took care of the problem but didn't. I made another complaint with a promised response within 48 hours but no one called or contacted me. My next step will be to have the State Attorney General get involved. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Bait and switch, Lies, overcharges and failure to communicate.John A.

I requested the rental for Waco, but the pickup was sent outside Waco. We were late and lost in pouring rain Lauran gave us perfect directions and waited. She made this stressful move pleasant. The rental process was fast and smooth. Lauran is excellent and I would rent from this location again!andrea P.

The unit was not clean. It had oil all over the floor along with trash and dirt. The owner also said that the unit had almost a tank of gas when it only had less than a half a tank. My husband took pictures of the gas tank before he left. We also took pictures of the trash and oil on the floor. When I went to pick up the unit I did not receive any paper work for the rental. Usually they give you a paper saying how much gas is in it and you also have to initial in certain places. I received none. This is the sixth uhaul I rent in less than a year so I know what is expected.Christine K.

I am writing a review in regards to U-Haul itself and this does not reflect upon Car Connection. Car Connection went above and beyond to try to improve upon the absolutely terrible customer service that U-Haul provided. I was contacted on Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours from my scheduled pick up date, that the 26 foot truck I had requested in Waco Texas was not available. I was told the closest location would be Hubbard or Temple TX. I informed the agent that it was unacceptable to inform me the day before a move, where I had help scheduled, to create such a problem. I informed them that I needed a 26 foot truck, in Waco, Saturday morning and that they needed to do whatever it took to make that happen. I was called back and told the best solution they could find was to give me a 26 foot truck at the Car Connection location in West TX and that it would be ready by 10 AM. I said I would accept that, however, I was very displeased with the poor service I was receiving. I do not see how U-Haul would require a person to drive 25+ miles to pick up a truck I had reserved 7 days before my planned move. I also told the agent on the phone I wanted every discount available. I was give a $20 discount and an extra day. An extra day to move means absolutely nothing, I was going to be able to move within a 24 hour period, I didn't need extra days or more miles. I needed to pick up a 26 foot truck in Waco on Saturday morning. The problem wasn't that a truck was not available, or that U-Haul does not have the man power to get a truck to Waco. It all had to do with the different locations and schedulers wanting other trucks in Hubbard or Temple. The reason I had to go to West to pick up a truck, was because the Car Connection in West had a truck that Temple wanted. So instead of switching out the night before and having it ready first thing Saturday morning, I had to wait until 11:00AM Saturday to pick it up. The reason is because the ignorant staff in Temple waiting until 9:30AM to drive to West. Even though both locations were open by 8:00AM. So, as a costumer, I had to wait for the staff in Temple to get to West with my 26 foot truck so that the Temple staff could pick up the truck in West for their own service. I was being used and abused so that the U-Haul scheduler could make money. There was plenty of time, man power, and resources to move a 26 foot truck from Hubbard or Temple to any of the locations in Waco by Saturday morning so that I could have an easy transition. Instead, I the costumer had to demand for a closer location. Car connection staff informed me that they even offered to pick up my truck on Friday so I would be ready to go Saturday. U-haul said not to. The district manager Larry Delgado informed Car Connection that I was demanding to have the truck in West. That was a total lie and Mr. Delgado should be reprimanded for poor service. I was demanding that my original contract and request made 7 days before my moDANIEL B.
