I rented a truck with your company on July 20th (address is 2471 S Towne Av), reservation number is 25468955. When I return the vehicle, The mileage of the vehicle showed a total of 61.9 miles. I also added 40 US dollars of gas on the way. When I returned the vehicle, the fuel level showed that there was still a quarter, but at the time of settlement, it was calculated according to the remaining amount. One-eighth of the fuel volume is settled, resulting in an increase of $97.50 in gas fees and a $30 handling fee to the total cost. your agent was very deceiving I got reserved truck that is $19 per day. when I arrived to pick the truck she told that the previous renter had not turned in the key, Since I needed the truck I got the $29 per day, and she said you have to return by 6:15 I asked why 6:15 she replied that this is reserved for that period. I said I try my best and she never mentioned the penalties. when return truck at later period 6:15 I was charged full day $29. That is you call I guess pandemic period customer service.Mohammad N.
Prior to picking up truck at Towne Ave. I was guaranteed a 6:00am pick up using the 24/7 at a closer location to my home 2 1/2 hours later and two more locations I was finally able to get a truck. I would recommend dealing with human and seeing the truck with keys in your hand then using that screwed up 24/7 mobile app crap.Bob R.

This location was out of the way for us but since we needed a truck we booked it while requesting a drop off at a closer location as I have done many times in the past. When picking up the truck we were told that we needed to drop it off there instead of our desired location and I also got a phone call stating the same. By having to go back to that location, we went over our mileage allotment and were charged not the $.40 per mile on our contract but $1.00 a mile for the extra miles. We are not happy and will be looking at another company for truck rentals in the future.Barbara B.

Cargo area was dirty and smelled like rabbits urine or so - we cleaned the floor a little, but the odor is still there. Why we were supposed to do that? Isn't this your personell's job??? No lock was provided for cargo door. No equipment was in cargo area - I was forced to go inside and ask for it... your employee was surprised and pretended she had no idea that I needed equipment, thinking I will use my hands to load 20 feet truck. And you know what was next? She managed to find only one utility dolly... What was that, why pads and appliance dolly weren't there??? So I lost time (plus extra miles) to get to another uhaul location in Ontario, wait in line there and get missing equipment. Not the best start before 6 hour loading and futher 140 miles driving...Sergey A.

The truck was very old and very noisy, I could not hold a conversation while driving, the truck had over 144K miles and it showed when trying to climb a hill, it felt like it was not going to make it, when putting in the gas that was used for the trip, it came to an average of 7 miles a gallon for the 15 foot truck. They over charged me $65 for gas and was very rude when i whent to correct it. He lied about how much gas was in the truck upon pick up and return and said there was nothing he could do about it. The clerk who handled both check out and check in was incredible! Quick and easy and she helped with bringing the supplies out and ensuring everything was good before leaving. I have been to other U-Haul rentals and their service is incredibly slow and very little interest in the customer. She also was managing the fuel and minimart at the same time. The process of renting a unit as a walk-in is very slow and time-consuming. I now know to reserve on-line instead of just walking in. Also, I was billed for 2 days of use when I only had the vehicle for 7 hours. I called Customer Service and they are taking care of it for me. But with everything going on, I didn't need something else on my plate to have to deal with.Eddie S.
