The U-Haul mobile app didn't work for pick-up or drop-off. It failed to upload pictures for both and would not allow me to continue with 24/7 drop-off. Other than that, this location is great.

The security system card reader for the entrance to my area of storage was not working well and I could not access directly requiring assistance from the office. The card would read in the office but not at the door. Also, I reserved a 10 X 20 unit online but when I got there they said they did not even HAVE 10 X 20 units. The do have 10 X 15 but none were available so I had to rent two 10 X 10 units.

I had no problems but there was another woman that kept setting off the alarm while I was inside. There was also some sort of box that said “poison” in the unit I was renting. Hope you do not have a rodent problem.

Only problem was that I made a reservation online and get to the store for pickup and I am told a RESERVATION on line or through calling uhaul does NOT guarantee they will have a truck for you. Myself and another couple who drove an hour to get here both were not happy. By only luck a truck came in an hour later and we got it. Then another came in the size they needed. The guy in the office was the only one there training 2 others but he was amazing even though it was stressful.

I selected Uhaul storage solely because of the first month free. when arriving at the Bristol location, they had no record of my online check in and then they charged me for the first month. This is deceiving marketing and fraudulent. Website says first month is free with one way truck or trailer rental. I will not be staying more than this month.

My original truck wasn't there so they changed trucks. Then the mileage was wrong and they said they would fix it in the computer but they didn't. So I had to pay almost $20 extra for that. Then I put $30 in gas and I only drive 10 miles and they said I didn't put enough gas in. So i was charged more for that. it was an awful experience. I've always used U Haul for everything but not any more. I'll never use you guys again.

There was an issue with the drivers side door not closing unless the window was opened a bit. The tires were bad, had problems backing up on a non-paved surface. Sounded like it needs struts.

Uhaul rented me a box truck from one location and after I paid 4 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up in one city they called and said they didn't have one there and I had to drive 25 miles out of my way to pick it up in another city adding at least 50 miles to my trip without offering any concessions on pricing. Felt like the bait and switch considering I had already given card information. Not happy with this experience or your companies attempts at automating everything in the clunky website app that makes it more of a difficult process for customers. Also given the truck with 1/4 a tank of fuel so my day was delayed hours due to uhaul selling me a truck in one location and then making me go to another location. To get it only to have to drive directly to a gas station to take more of my time to fill it up.

Inside of the vehicle was not clean enough and had a terrible smell. Also I was charged another $20 for not "verifying" that I returned the vehicle. My husband had already put the keys in the drop box before we realized we had to take a picture of the odometer and gas gage upon returning it so I was unable to do that without the keys. Was not told that I would be charged $20 for that. Ridiculous how uhaul attached fees to everything.

There were several problems that ultimately did get resolved. We had an issue picking up the truck at the scheduled time and had to wait until the next morning when the store was open (even though the store offered 24/7 pick up/drop off) and we were billed for longer than we had the truck, but both issues ultimately got resolved.

I had to sweep broken glass out of the back of the Uhaul from the previous customer. Other than that, everything was great. I did mention that to the representative that was cleaning the returned equipment.

Well I went online and fill out all information. When I went to store he wanted to redo what was done then charged more and wouldn't take my Apple Card number on ph wanted a card. Ended taking it after I explained but next time I'll just go to store and not put my information on line just make me fill like I given my information on false site.

When I picked up the truck I was working with the representative and the phone rang. The store manager was standing directly next to him as we were talking and he did not answer the phone. The representative answered the phone and politely asked the person on the other end to hold. He then went outside and found the assistant managers who was working on moving some vehicles to come in and take the phone call. Overall a great experience, just really odd that the manager could not answer the phone.

The truck that I was given had a very bad odor inside the cab and was very dirty. I submitted the pictures before I started driving it as well but no one ever addressed these issues. The odor was so bad, it would make you sick.

Reservation made on-line but when I went to pick up the equipment, all the prices were higher than on my reservation invoice. Card machines were down, so I had to go to an ATM to get cash. Was due a refund upon return, and the clerk tried to charge me the refund amount instead of refunding to me. Clerks did not seem to know what they were doing. Had to keep checking with one another. Reserved the trailer on-line but took over an hour to get it once I arrived due to the pricing differences, card machine being down, and incompetency of workers.

The gentleman that waited on my Saturday was the only person working when he said there was supposed to be 3 other people (including managers) that had not shown up to work. I appreciate his hard work and showing up so that I could rent the 2 trailers I needed.

Make it where you are able to use a debit card instead of having to have a credit card, it was an inconvenience for us because we don't have one. Other than that The staff was very friendly and helpful and very polite.

This is not a reflection on the person who waited on me because he corrected everything in a pleasant professional manner This review is for any UHaul customer to save yourself a problem at the end of your journey, especially if you've had little experience renting a vehicle. 1). Check the fuel gauge BEFORE you drive out of the lot. Mine was reported to have 1/2 a tank more than it actually did. Fortunately, I did catch that. 2) Inspect your vehicle truck bed for cleanliness. Mine had not been cleaned and I didn't know it until I got to where I loaded. The cab was spotless If my UHaul guy had not been so professional, that would have been my problem to deal with. And, I only used a van for 20 minutes and a round trip of less than 2 miles . 3) Note that you will pay a $10 insurance fee regardless, so add that to the advertised price.

I returned the trailer on Saturday May 14. When I arrived there were something like 2 truck returns waiting and 3 trailer returns waiting also. I only saw one person on the premises; the nice young man who helped me. He said there was a trainee in “the back” but person had been on the job 4 days. I sensed the young man was frustrated but he did all he could to service me and the others waiting. I suggest you look into why there was such a shortage of personnel on a Saturday.

Arrived at the building for the first time, the automatic doors opened and I walked right in. Went to my unit, opened the door and activated the alarm. Instructions need to emphasize "FOLLOW THESE STEPS OR ELSE" for a better first-time move-in experience. The alarm works great!

The older gentleman that met me in the parking lot and hung with me throughout the process was excellent? The younger worker at the desk was fast asleep when we approached the desk and had to be woken by the gentleman helping me. The younger man was also very slow in processing requests. He also could not find the size we needed and we settled for a smaller one. When we went to unload, we noticed an empty one of the size we needed. The older gentleman then took over our order as the other man was with a customer. He found the one we had seen was empty and confirmed it was open and rented it to us.

No one explained the access card to us so we have been locked out of the storage unit! This was our first time using a Uhaul storage so had no idea we’d get locked out. Staff could have explained it instead of just handing me the card with no instructions. Access hours are suppose to be 24hrs but access stops at 10pm. Not happy about that either

I moved out a while ago and it took them calling more than 4 times to say my payment was due and me responding with I have told you guys I moved out, for them to finally close my storage unit a month later. There was even mold found on some of my stuff and I had to throw it out and get it replaced even though they have air conditioning. Will not be using this location again :)

Moved out August 30, 2021, unable to cancel storage online on my account the option was grayed out. Could not get anyone at the facility itself to answer the phone, when they did answer the phone they hung up on us without saying a word. In addition I called they hundred number for U-Haul and spoke to a tech they told me oh well you’ll just need to go in there, first that wasn’t what I was told when I got to the building I was told I could cancel online or via telephone second I have Covid I can’t just go in there. In addition it show me owing for September and for October, I moved out August 30 oh nothing. It took nine days before I received my cancellation receipt, the customer service with U-Haul is terrible.

The storage was fine but billing then trying to rectify was and still is a nightmare. Over charged by $265, drove 1hr 2x to get credit Could not do it, then attempted 2 credits 1st for 104.95. Wrote it for 10,495!!!!! Then to rectify charged me 10,495. Due to this my cc co had to reduce available credit. The CHARGE HIT IMMEDIATELY BUT NOT THE CREDIT!!!! Upset disgusted least how I feel

I moved out of the storage unit on the 19th of the month, I paid for the full month on the 15th and was not reimbursed for the balance of the month, the rent should have been pro rated for the month, I had my rent set up on auto payment and for 9 months my rent was paid on time. This is not the way to treat good customers, I also rented several trucks and trailers from this location. I don't believe I will use them again in the future

I called and asked about getting help to unload my truck before arriving to drop off my U-Haul truck and was told no one could help. When I arrived there was 4 people hanging out behind the desk just chatting amongst themselves.

Everyone was professional & very friendly. Just what we needed after a long & arduous trip complete with road closures & unexpected delays. Even though their systems were down when we arrived, they went above & beyond to accommodate us in spite of the mistakes made by the Denver U-HAUL we'd left from.
