There was a very long line as you can imagine on a Saturday morning and the pages wouldn't load on the computer screen. The team working there are a great. They need the tools to succeed tho. We did 2 moves this year with Uhaul. Neither went without some significant glitch. On out first move, your franchisee gave away the car carrier we reserved with the uhaul truck. On this move, your Babcock Rd franchise totally ignored us when we directed where the ubox be left, and dropped it off right in front of the breezeway to the apartment - not allowed by management. The bed of the trailer had a large oil or grease spot in the middle between the wheels. It squeaked while towing unloaded regardless of how tight I twisted the hitch screw. Other than that, the trailer is very rugged, the right tool for tough conditions, and at a reasonable price. I never questioned whether the trailer would let me down. I brought it back early and the cost was adjusted. I see some other trailers with a longer tailgate.I might get that one next time. I will rent again, I'm sure..randy H.

I returned the trailer 1 hour and 26 minutes late. I was charged for an extra day. I busted my butt to get it returned as quickly as possible, figuring that there would be some sort of grace period, especially since there were several other trailer on the lot (meaning that no customers would be waiting around for me to return it). Had I know that I would be charged for another full 24 hours then I would have taken my time. The exhaustion and stress to return it ASAP could have all been avoided. It is ridiculous to be charged for for another full day for only 1.5 hours late. Everyone was very nice, but the guy who I returned it to did not mention that it was late. I left the store thinking â€œthat is good customer relations, giving a little leewayâ€. Once my receipt came in it changed to: â€œThis is crazy, a whole day extra charge!!!â€kiel G.
The pricing for a 10' truck is not transparent. We realized that driving it 20-30 miles would cost us closer to $75 versus the $19.99 advertised due to $0.99/mile. We opted for a trailer instead. More transparency in cost would be nice but we've rented from this location multiple times and it's always been quick and have had no other hiccups.Brittney M.

Not only did I wait over an hour before being helped but I received a trailer with a strap hanging on by a thread that was not usable. It wasn't even possible for me to get a hold of anybody at the Palmbay store so I had no choice but to drive the U-Haul with no car on it all the way across the state for no reason. Not only did it waste a lot of money but I will never return to U-Haul again. I use U-Haul twice a year to move back-and-forth from college and this is the first time I've ever had a problem. I was not happy with how dirty the equipment was. It seemed to be ignored. I took it one step further and was deciding to move, but after what happened and found my unit was tagged to be rented out without me even moving out put the nail on the coffin. You have possibly three or four good employees, but management is horrendous. They are rude, unprofessional and have no customer service skills. I will miss the few who were great, but as for Uhaul itself, no way. Your equipment seems old and not taken care of and this facility will be the same way in a couple of years. You guys are now over priced and the lack of customer service when you come in is not acceptable. I found a local company that puts,customer service first and just not selling their product. I've been in Palm Bay over 42 years and am very disappointed in what Uhaul has become.ANGEL A.

Both the video provided to assist in moving in, and the contract emailed to me specified that a lock would be provided. Video stated to break the seal, open the door and the lock would be inside the unit. There was no lock, and I was told at the store that I would have to purchase their lock. I also had a hard time locating the unit. The layout is confusing, and it is quite a way from the entrance. It is unclear how and when to enter the access codes, especially on a Sunday when it was considered after hours. I finally figured it out. I reserved a 10x15 online 1 week prior to going in. Upon arrival I was told the unit I reserved was already sold and they did not have another one. I had to settle for a 10x10. After completing paper work I went to my new unit only to find it already had a lock on it and a notice saying it had been evicted due to non payment. I then went back and told the associate, who then had me walk back to the unit to confirm what I had told her. Upon arriving back at the check out area I was told they didn't have another unit and they could offer me a 10x8. I reluctantly accepted it because I needed a unit and wanted one at this location since it was convient for me. After going to the unit I realized I would not be able to fit all of my furniture in such a small unit. I notice another unit with a green tag that looked to be the size of a 10x10. So upon arriving back at the check out for a 3rd time I asked for a refund and acquired about the other unit I had seen. The women looked it up and found out that even though the last person had cleared all of thier things out uhal never actually took them off of the unit. That's why it wasn't showing as available. She called the previous customer to confirm they had closed out account and after talking to th gentleman told me they could offer me that unit. I had to settle for a smaller unit but was happy that I had one. After arriving home and a couple hours later I received a call from uhal. I was told that when they kept switching the units from a 10x10 to a 10x8 then again to a 10x10 they refunded me back to much money and needed me to return to the location to give them back the 31 dollars they had given me. I understand mistakes happen but after all I had been through to then ask me to drive back to the location was unprofessional. It was there mess up and they should have owned up to it and taken the loss. Especially after making me wait in line 4 times and having to basically tell them about a storage unit that was available. If it wasn't for the fact that the facility is well lit clean and convientet and the fact that I am also getting a truck from this location, I would have had no issue getting my money back and going to another storage company.
