This location was great and very accommodating, especially after UHaul's corporate office screwed up multiple things (moving my pickup location to a location an hour away, not having a truck ready even though I reserved 2 months in advance , being rude on the phone and hanging up). However, the Gage Park location was able to get me a truck and a refund, and the manager was very kind!

Have online and in-store estimates be closer. I was given an estimate in the ballpark of 30$ and 4 hours. When i arrived i was charged 160 and the receptionist asked if id be "back in two hours because they have another reservation." Fortunately he respected the 4hr reservation.

Even when I made a reservation beforehand, the truck wasn't available, so they sent me to another location and there they said it still wasn't available, finally after talking to someone for 40 minutes over the phone they finally found a truck available, but in that truck it had low tires. They need to get that checked before handing it over to a costumer.

The pick up location was not anywhere near where it was requested. It was a 1.5 hour drive each way to pickup . Staff were very friendly and helpful

This location saved the day after the worst experience ever at 4705 W 47th st. I was directed there to pick up a 15 ft truck, but the manager Quinn refused to rent it to me because he was saving it hoping for a more lucrative one-way rental. He lied to me by sending to a closed location wasting more of my moving window at my apartment where I had rented the freight elevator. He had total disregard for customers and should represent U-Haul.

Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. I arrived and they attended me very fast. They helped me out when I came back from using the rental 10min after closing. I was having a bad day and these guys made my day better 🙏

I set up an online scheduled pick up to rent a truck for a day, created an account and entered my payment info. When i went to pick up, they needed my credit card I used but I left it at home since I thought it was set up. I asked to see if it was possible to show my online credit credit on my banking app or my applepay wallet and they said no. I went back to grab it and they didn't even use my credit card for anything. Just to look at it. I'm confused on why they needed to see it when I had everything set up and I could of shown the same info on the card through the banking app. Also, the truck they provided said it needed an oil change and the left back turning light wasn't working, I called to let them know what I should do and they were already aware that it needed an oil change.

While driving 65 mph on the highway, the rain and dirt being kicked up forced me to try to use the windshield wipers. To my dismay there was no function of the windshield wipers and no windshield fluids. I had to pull off and go to another location to correct the problem and try to be safe.

The light fell off as soon as I got the truck to my apartment to move.. Nothing was in the truck at the time. I was charged 69.63 for that..

You seem to have everything covered. The customer service was exceptional and very accommodating to my unexpected need emergency to move because of no heat and gas in the building. Didn't enjoy signing a contract to later meaning two years later to be notified that the rates were changing for all customer's. I felt as though that should have taken affect for new customers seeing I had already been there two years. Seeing they don't honor a contract on there behalf I had to clean out throw away just refuse to continue with this company.

Francisco goes above and beyond for her customers. Whenever there would be an issue, she would be on the phone even if it were after hours to get it resolved. I remember being so amazed at one point throughout my stay because my black was jammed and I could not figure out why the keys wouldn't go. She was so experienced and came up with her power tools and had to drill it open. She was busy but knew it important for me to get to my belongings that day. She had staff handle everyone else and came up too quickly help me out. Over the past 3 years I have use this facility over and over just because of Francisca and her staff customer service. She trains them very well. This storage location is out of the vicinity where I moved, but I drive the extra 30 minutes to use them.

It was a great experience never had any problems the staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. Uhaul as a company rates are what made me leave. Customers were fighting over elevator. Not enough elevator. My unit was on the 4th floor. It took 3 times longer sharing elevator 8 other people. Elevator was to small.

The outcome however was poor there was confusion about the hours at the storage facility that I actually was trying to rent when I got to that facility. It was Hora en told then I had paid 3 months in best. I'm still not settling with the manager. She was kind enough to make another lease agreement with me, but I've still not been forwarded the Correct change, it's a nightmare.
