The trailer was in desperate need of a wash. Touching anything on the exterior turned your hands gross with dirt. The lights would not come on. Neither brake or turn signal lights. My truck said there was a short. I was on a very tight schedule and when I picked it up, I needed them to work as they should, and II did not have time to wait around for someone to show up to help. So the drive to my unloading destination and return center was a fingers-crossed adventure, hoping that I did not get pulled over or rear ended. I would like to say that the lady who I communicated with at the pick up, Carly, was very friendly and helpful, with the exception that when I asked her for a location that I could drop the trailer off late on a Sunday, she sent me to an unstaffed facility that did not allow for unassisted drop off. I had to call corporate for support in order to find a place to do so, which added an hour and 15 minutes to and already exhausting day. The customer service was there, but she did not have the tools or training to be able to either help with my request or tell me that it wasn’t possible from the beginning.

Very easy to get trailer and return! Very nice and easy to deal with! Not my first time dealing with them, and will definitely use them again.
Randy CIt was a simple process once we got to this location. We first went to the other 2 locations in Rockport. The first one just said closed (Hwy 35). The next one was also closed although the sign said open until 6pm Monday - Thursday and no one answered the phone. This location on Hwy 188 looked closed but we called the number on their sign and we were allowed in the remote gate where I hooked us up, took a picture of the hook up, paid by phone with a card and we were on our way.

Timothy CThe first truck, 15ft, I tried to get didn't gas in it, the check engine light was on, was dirty, the rear door had a broken cable and it had a dirty, smelly, broken sofa in the back. I ended up getting a 10 truck. The local rep gave me $50 discount for the issue. Blamed the person that was responsible for putting the first truck back into service without checking it out.

charlotte acheck-in and return was a breeze. I didn’t see it mentioned when I reserved that there was not anyone there, so maybe just make it known when making the reservation that it is a remote site. If it said it, I missed it.

John BThis location was perfect, timely and attentive. However, the first reservation (96300506) I made for a pick-up in Corpus Christi was a total disaster. Fortunately the day prior I called to confirm the reservation because I was informed the trailer wasn't available and they wanted me to drive an extra hour one-way to pickup the toy hauler. I ended up having to settle for a smaller carhauler trailer. I made it work but I'm sure I wasn't the model of a safest transport. I was deeply upset and disappointed in UHaul's service.

WILLIAM PGreat location and friendly staff. However, the truck was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!!!!! My son is allergic to dogs and cats and upon opening the truck door we were greeted with clumps of fur. I’m not talking about a little hair here or there…NO the entire cab was full of animal hair. We had to wipe it all down and vacuum it out place a blanket down so nothing would touch him and that still didn’t help. His little eyes were swollen almost closed and blood shot. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I’m so disappointed.
