THE DOOR WAS BROKEN AND THE GAS GAGE DID NOT WORK SO THEY CHARGED ME 110.00 FOR GAS AND I ONLY DROVE 6.3 MILES BOTH WAYS!! TOTAL SCAM AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Additionally, was told to park my car in the U-Haul spot by the rep and came back to my ct with a boot on it by U-Haul and two green stickers on my windows which the U-Haul Person removed with a paint stirrer leaving glue on both windows this is unacceptable service and was not Offered anything by the locations. will Nor rent from There !!!
RAHEEM TYou downgraded my truck reservation from a 15’ foot to a 10’ truck last minute. I couldn’t fit all my stuff from my apartment and had to throw out thousands of dollars worth of furniture. I may bring legal action to U haul.
NICHOLAS FMy rental vehicle had an unacceptable level of fuel: less than 1/16 of a tank remaining. The customer service representative listed 3/16 of a tank on my contract. After noticing this, I went back into the office with a photo of the fuel level to let her know, but she was extremely rude to me, refused to adjust the contract, and declined add any fuel. I barely had enough fuel to make it to the nearest gas station. No customer should be subjected to this extra stress on their moving day. All rental vehicles should have at least a quarter tank or more before being released to any customers.
Nelson LWent early to pick up truck. No keys in lock box. Had to sit around for a good while on hold like a schmuck to get someone to help- delayed the move tremendously and caused tons of downstream issues due to sheer incompetence of not placing keys in the drop box. Plus, truck had less than 1/8th of a tank of gas when we got it. Very little help offered.

Thomas FThe truck that I received had a low air tire pressure alert that popped up the moment I turned it on. I wasn't able to report the problem or change the truck because it was after hours. The interior cabin was also dirty and not maintained. The steering wheel was peeled and sticky along with other surfaces. Other than that the truck held up for the duration of its use. Staff on site is always friendly and helpful when the location is open.

WAH FThe truck was not what the photos showed when checking in. The truck had a huge scratch at the drivers door and was dirty. I had to dispute most of the pictures that you guys put when checking in, very disapointing.

TOI PThe floor of the van was dirty on the inside, from mud around the parking area and entrance to the building. They sold me three “moving bags”, one of which the young lady opened up to demonstrate. The other two were placed inside this bag and sold to me. It turned out I never needed them, and left them sitting in the van the entire time I rented the van. They wouldn’t take the bags back and refund my money paid for those. She accused me of bringing back a used bag, and a dirty bag, only dirtied by the floor of their van, which was not cleaned out prior to my use. There is no sign anywhere in their store which states there are no refunds on anything bought in store, which backs up the lady’s claim that “there are no refunds”. As a long time U-haul customer, I would like to request a refund for the items, and prepaid postage to retune said items to the store.

Sayed PBesides the on going construction and having to walk through an active work zone the box truck I rented was in rough shape definitely needed to be maintained more properly but overall was needing something on the spot they came through and actually wound up being less than originally quoted overall fair experience
Michael YI was struck in the face by a poorly glued on bad repair job of an inner cabinet piece while driving. The back tire was chronically flat. And there was an issue with the breaks randomly not working. The vehicle was a death trap.

Wojciech PAwful experience. Firstly, this is technically not a U-Haul. It's a U-Haul rental storage lot using the 21st century storage facility AND employees to basically not take any expenses and take in cash risk free. Read: SHADY. This became evident to me when I got my cargo van that did NOT have the dimensions as advertised. You know how I know? Because I took the exact measurements from the website and measured all my furniture beforehand to make sure it would fit. It didn't. So I had to come BACK to the lot to exchange for a bigger vehicle. I come back and the one 21st century employee that U-Haul is making also cover the U-Haul desk wasn't even there. She was off running an errand ON her shift. So I wait 20 minutes til she decides to come back, we burn 45 minutes just for me to find her dumb ass supervisor is going to charge me for the falsely advertised cargo van PLUS insurance PLUS milage ALL separately from the new truck to which they will ALSO charge me new insurance PLUS new fee PLUS new milage. Shit greedy impractical supervisor. Shady, short sighted, despicable. But I need to go. I've already wasted 2 hours of my move in slot at my building and I need to move everything out so I must accept this and argue it later. I get to the new truck and no lie, it literally looks like two people had a water balloon fight in the cabin. It's soaked with water everywhere. Wtf? Why? How does this even happen? Once I hop in after the one employee dries the whole cabin most everything else was smooth sailing except now I have to deal with all these charges that I shouldn't be if the supervisor gave a shit. Not only will I not come back to this location, I will never use U-Haul again. Fuck this place.
