I had to go to Wisconsin 50 miles plus out-of-the-way to move my belongings from Illinois to Florida. Illinois customer’s understands why there is limited availability in one-way trucks, leaving the state of Illinois.

Juan MThe app did not work properly. I could not take the before pictures of the van. However, it was not a problem as the van was perfect with about 4600 miles on it. I have been a loyal user of U-haul since the early 90s when the in-town trucks were Manual Transmission F250s with a box, with no A/C, maybe a radio and there was always something wrong with them light brake lights or turn signals. Over the years, U-Haul has impressed me with how they up the bar on quality almost every time I rent from you. The van had everything imaginable, including Apple CarPlay! Probably the best thing this time was your policy change to make the vehicles non-smoking. Thank you!

Dino EThe truck was fine, but the after hours pick up and drop off was not nearly as smooth as it should have been. The app was glitchy and would not allow me to do the all the requirements before driving, so we had to call for support. Although I arrived the suggested 10 minutes early, this whole process took a total of 40 minutes, which counted as part of my 4 hour rental time, and I had to ultimately extend my rental. I liked being able to rent the truck outside of business hours, but felt that in the case of technology/app issues that lasted over a half hour, I should have been given an extension on my rental instead of having to needlessly hustle around and rush my move.

COLLEEN SProvide a trailer with a lockable coupler for cross-country/long distance moves. I bought the locking pin ($20) in anticipation of getting a lockable coupler, but had to go out and buy a 5' chain ($30) and lock ($20) to secure the trailer to my truck in a hotel parking lot/locations along the way. More of a comment about U-Haul in general than a comment about the pick up location. Second U-Haul trailer I've rented and had a good experience on both. Folks at all locations were courteous and professional.

PAUL NI transport my artwork in cargo vans. I always use this particular rental location because the staff is wonderful, the vehicle always clean and there is an adorable chihuahua, Dotty in the office to greet me.

Gail RKeep the trucks fuel on full mark we customer picks it up. That way the customer doesn't have to guess how much fuel to put in. The customer usually over spends on fuel.
