The poor guy was very busy and seemed to be the only one there when we got there and his printer wouldn't work and the phones were really busy. So he said he'd email the receipt but we never received it so we had to phone to get it. However, when we phoned they were very helpful with that and it was a relatively easy to deal with them. So overall wasn't bad at all.MARK Z.

Poor attendant was waiting for switch of drop off location to come through U-Haul. U-Haul had me dropping off at a different location from what my contract said. He was very helpful but it took him 4 phone calls and a hour latter to get it straightened out! Then he had to tell me I had overage charges! U-Haul needs to be better!Brenda M.

It was all very good, except that I had to give 2 references in case something happened to the trailer. As if my friends or family would rat me out. So stupid. Also, the kid who gave me the trailer wasn't wearing a mask, and was coughing and yawning all over the place. Not what a person wants to see in the middle of a pandemic.A K.

Younger service rep when I picked up trailer, did not seem to be able to answer my questions but went through the motions. Would like more communication prior to my major move from one province to another. Communication was non existant and nerve wracking not knowing if trailer would be there??The day before confirmation is not enough to ease the nerves. A polite conversation would had gone a long way a week prior. Thank you for asking.Chad D.
Was offered and accepted the safetow insurance for $10 for a day, but when I brought it back, I was charged for 14 days, when I only wanted the insurance for the one day. They had a kid working there that tried to call a manager, who didn't answer their phone. I called the regional uhaul office who said I had to wait up to 72 hours to have the manager call me and work this out. Very unacceptable and it's a deceptive business practice by 3 guys car wash. Will not be using uhaul again if this doesn't get resolved to my satisfaction.Tyler G.
Pick-up at this location is not the greatest on the weekend. Had two experience at this location, a week apart and the only difference was the second one was less than stellar on the weekend. Oily and dirty trailer on pickup.John M.
I thought the young fellas working were excellent, they provided great customer service, but I am very unhappy with U-Haul because they charged me for two days, when I had the trailer back within the 12 hour period that I rented it for. Unacceptable. I have a complaint file opened with U-Haul, so if I get a satisfactory resolution, I will come and edit my post. Until then, I would recommend not using this service.Joshua C.

The little shit working the desk tried to make me pay for an extra day even though he watched me pull in and unhook the trailer a well before the 24hr time limit. Only after I called and complained to uhaul on the phone (even prior to my 24hr time limit) did he take action and play dumb saying he didn't know how to change the time on the computer to process my contract. Waited over one hour between check in and loading. Staff overwhelmed as two people in line for uhaul. Staff also used washroom and never washed hands or sanitizer. We are in a pandemic?!!!! Terrible service and not following Covid restrictionsCharlene H.
I booked a 20ft 2 weeks in advance knowing I needed the 20ft the day before pick up they call and say we only got a 15 ft and a 5 foot trailer I know it makes 20 ft but u don't get that hight or with so pretty much had to leave my bbq and kids out door stuff so didn't like it would recommend finding a different place to rentmike M.
My only concern with Uhaul is your vehicle needs to change there imperial to metric. Are Canadian government has changed this years ago.. This will help with rentals.Cecile E.

The guys working at this location were very busy when I returned the trailer that I had rented. Still were able to get me out and on my way quickly. The only thing that slowed them down was the U-Haul portal that they use...took quite a while to load, which was also an issue on previous visits at other U-Haul locations as well as past visits to this one. There was no one around so I returned the truck using my phone. Then a worker came out and asked me to come into the office after I'd already given her the key and completed the return online. She asked me for the mileage and all the questions I had just completed online. When I said I had already returned the truck and paid the extra mileage fees she said â€œ oh I really wish you hadn't done that cause now I don't know what to doâ€ She said I owed for the extra mileage and I told her I'd already paid it.Amanda I.

Uhual overall poor customer service, I requested a 15â€ uhual I got a 10â€ so small even my matress can not fit properly, so dusty inside of the box. They give me a trailer to pull and it was so inconvenience to drive it cost me more gas money as I need to pull a heavy load on the back. At the moment of rent I waisted over an hour on my pick up as the system lost my reservation. Worst experience ever.Cindy C.

The Uhaul pickup part of their business is a very small part of it so it doesn't receive much priority but I was told how much time it would take. I was within the projected amount of time.cam B.
U-Haul's information on the pickup location was incorrect, they were scheduled to be closed, it was only a fortune bit of luck that they were open. Complex and finicky check-in system, not exactly a great system. Local pickup agency was great, however, friendly and helpful.Johnathan S.

The Driver to destination couldn't be with us to have his driver's licence added to the contract. We were given a number which we called to add it. A female told us there was no way to add him. I then asked to speak to the manager. I couldn't understand how we couldn't add him with all the technology we have. There had to be way. Finally the manager made that possible. I think there needs to be more dialogue around this . It was frustrating at the time as we had to make a timeline as well.Camille W.

When I called in to reserve a specific size of equipment, it would have been nice to know that that size is not available in my area, because I was told the size I requested was available, but later that week, I was advised that my selection was not available and I was changed down in size. This made my move very stressful as I had to make multiple trips and each trip is 4 hours of driving. When I got to the pick up location, they told me that the requested size is never available, as they do not have equipment that large there.sloane D.

The two gentlemen that were working at 3 Guys Truck Wash were having a terrible day (major equipment failure in building) and still took the time to make sure that we were well looked after. We appreciated the service that was given.Dana C.
It was my first time using U haul. There a few issues:- 1) The office was super cold and the poor guy was shivering and was using personal heater, but this should not be used as an excuse for poor customer care skills. 2) He printed a contract to with hold the deposit for rental which included a trolly, I signed the contract. 3) we went to the truck, he gave me the key and asked me to turn the signals on and checked the brake lights and gave me the contract and ran into his office. ( Truck was super cold and snow on windshield obviously truck was not turned on in the morning) ( He did not match the milage on truck speedometer with the contract, when I checked the contract for the milage out (42219) it was different then what was on the truck (42254). I gave him a call right away about the milage discrepency but they still charged me 15miles extra. 3) I did a walk around and video recording about the truck condition by myself to cover my a** and checked the cargo but there was no trolly. So I went back into the office and asked for the trolly. 3) then the shop was closed for some emergency maintenance issues but no one informed me. When I want at the shop to return the truck at 2pm no body was there to guide me. 4) I spoke with customer care representative and she gave me very poor directions on how to return the truck and what should I do and she added no notes to my file. 5) I called again and a new customer care representative was very good in her job, I guess her name was Abny. She gave ne detailed instructions. 6) So extra milage charge after 4 phone calls, no trolly, no information on closing the shop for maintenance so overall very BAD experience. Thank you.Lakhwinder C.

Im very disappointed with the service! I booked for 15ft truck and they give a heads up a day before the move.and they offered me cargo van instead. They offered me another location but too far from my place. Had no choice because i dont have time anymore. I had to go two trip just to finish the move. I wont recommend this to my friend. Please fulfill your promise to your clients after all you are nothing w/o us.Sonny B.

The young man was very patient and he helped me work through the issue of sending a photo of my driver's license in order to rent the trailer. As I have no data plan on my phone, and I was 3000 Km away from my email, I had no way of sending the required information. I had rented on two previous occasions within the past few months in Ontario where this process was not required. It would be helpful to let the customer know about your new policy prior to renting a trailer in another province. Thank you.Rudy P.

I was charged an extra day even though the unit was returned on time when adjusted for the time zone difference. The dealer employee claimed to not know what the extra charge was for. The explanation was on my invoice when I was given my paperwork later. I was also asked by the rude employee to wait for him for 5 minutes on arrival. I actually had to wait for 15 minutes. The trailer smelt like rotten milk. Also the employee who was working lied about the lights working on the trailer. I was in the truck applying the brake and signal and he was behind the trailer checking if the lights were coming on. He said they were all good but I later learned the right brake light was out. He also had me send pictures of my drivers license to an unknown number because his computer wasnt working. Very unprofessionalTristan K.
