To start, my reservation pick up location was changed without talking to me. My preferred location is closer to where I needed to be so that was disappointing to start. Then when I got to the new location, it was small and had I not seen the U-Haul trucks, I would have not known it was the location. There is limited signage on the office building. When I walked in at my scheduled time the individual at the front desk, not a U-Haul employee, told me there wasn't anyone from U-Haul there and they were gone until Monday. My pickup was scheduled for Thursday. After talking to her for a while, someone came out of a back office and said he could help. He ended up Facetiming the U-Haul individual to walk him through the process. That was fine but took extra time and we were on a deadline. When the paperwork was completed, we went outside to hook up the trailer. This is where it got worse. The individual, not a U-Haul employee, didn't know how to do anything with the trailer hook up or lights. I hooked up the trailer myself and from past U-Haul experience know that is not your process. Then we tested the lights and they didn't work. Luckily at this point the individual helping called the U-Haul employee again and he told him to go into the office and grab a new electrical hook up connection. After I switched out the wiring, it worked. All of this took a significant amount of time. Overall, this is not the U-Haul experience I am used to and I was pretty disappointed. We have several more years of using U-Haul with the kids in college and now I am hesitant.

Worst experience. We had a 9 a.m. appointment. Staff wasn’t even at the building and we had to call them. They rolled up looking like they just got out of bed and were completely unprepared and unprofessional.
Anna RLittle off the beaten path unlikely location and appearance.

MICHAEL REverything was perfect.
FREDRICK BI had reserved my pick-up at 5200 Veterans Blvd in Fargo which is a full service U-Haul location. For some reason, the reservation was moved to 360 Property Services, which is nothing more than a vacant lot with a couple of trailers. Service rep was courteous, but obviously u-haul rentals is not his primary job.
