How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe guy was nice. Terrible app and truck experience.
GREGORY SMy associate was kind, engaging, and readily worked out an issue I had with my reservation. Outstanding!
Ryan RHe was very helpful. Helped resolve a computer system issue with H. Q. Other than the slight delay, a great experience.
Donald CTo start, my reservation pick up location was changed without talking to me. My preferred location is closer to where I needed to be so that was disappointing to start. Then when I got to the new location, it was small and had I not seen the U-Haul trucks, I would have not known it was the location. There is limited signage on the office building. When I walked in at my scheduled time the individual at the front desk, not a U-Haul employee, told me there wasn't anyone from U-Haul there and they were gone until Monday. My pickup was scheduled for Thursday. After talking to her for a while, someone came out of a back office and said he could help. He ended up Facetiming the U-Haul individual to walk him through the process. That was fine but took extra time and we were on a deadline. When the paperwork was completed, we went outside to hook up the trailer. This is where it got worse. The individual, not a U-Haul employee, didn't know how to do anything with the trailer hook up or lights. I hooked up the trailer myself and from past U-Haul experience know that is not your process. Then we tested the lights and they didn't work. Luckily at this point the individual helping called the U-Haul employee again and he told him to go into the office and grab a new electrical hook up connection. After I switched out the wiring, it worked. All of this took a significant amount of time. Overall, this is not the U-Haul experience I am used to and I was pretty disappointed. We have several more years of using U-Haul with the kids in college and now I am hesitant.
