Had an appointment on a Saturday at 10:00 am to pick up the truck I had reserved online. When I arrived at 43 Self Storage to pick up the truck the store was closed. I called a number posted on the door and was instructed that I would have to do all the check in myself on my phone from the parking lot. The process of self check in was extremely frustrating given that the store's WiFi was poor in the parking lot and using the U-Haul app as I was instructed to do was even worse. It took over an hour to finally get the keys and on the road. If the store is not actually open for business the office hours should not be posted as such!MICHEAL J.
Retuning the truck was very difficult because none of the codes are giving again durning the return. For gates or the lock box. Very poor.Landon C.

I rented a 8 foot enclosed truck for 2 hours. I got in the truck and it had cigarette ashes everywhere and it smelled awful. I pull out of the place only to see that the truck has a low tire and is literally running on fumes. I hear something clanking around in the back. I stop to get gas and look inside and it is disgusting. There is broken glass everywhere, a couple beer bottles, trash it was filthy. I honestly feel like I deserve a refund the whole experience was ridiculous and the customer service was awful.Candra C.

when i arrived at the location to pick up my trailer there was only one young girl to help me? She did not seem to have the knowledge or experience to help me hook up the trailer? she was very pleasant but did not seem very knowledgeable about how to operate all the trailers jacks and connections, procedures, etc. basically she was just the secretary at this site to answer the phones and do the paperwork. She tried to help me as we struggled to get the trailer connected properly to my tow vehicle. It took us about 30-40 minutes to get the trailer in the proper position and at the right height to connect it to my tow vehicle. Bless her heart as she did go way above and beyond her duties and knowledge and strength. we struggled and pushed and pulled and jacked and i had to keep backing up the tow vehicle to get it aligned properly. we finally got it hooked up after all this time struggling and sweating and pushing and pulling. she was amazing and did not give up on me as i know nothing about hooking up trailers? it was not her fault that there was no man around??? apparently that day was a day off for the man who was suppose to work there. this whole process would have been a lot smoother and easier if there had of been a man at this location that had experience and knowledge of the trailer and hook up procedures .Frank B.

I ended up at this location after being sent by Justin Beart in your office on 7th st and Florida (in Joplin) to several other offices. The agent who supposedly took my reservation mistyped my number and never finalized the reservation. She assured me my fee was going to be $165, but I ended up paying $253. The person helping your agent over the phone was Anthony Westfield, a complete jerk, interruptive, and self centered.Omar P.
Very unorganized, I wanted to rent the truck for two days, which I was told I could keep it for two days. Had to take it back in one day and rush my move.David M.

It started before I left with rental the contact information wasn't correct the lady in office said she would have it fixed when I returned. Since then I have been emailed 3 incorrect invoices all over charging me been on phone assured it would be fixed still not . If I'm overcharged on my business card I will have to turn it over to my attorney.James S.

It seems that at the time I rented, a new software system had been implemented and was causing some problems. Either the software is difficult to use or better training on new software is required.Harry M.

The truck was new but they all in past were so clean they looked new. I put a quarter of tank of gas too much, my loss I guess. I over estimated before I left to go to new place.Nancy D.

Cyndee was my assistant and she was very informative on the rented equipment and the complete transaction. She was very pleasant to just conversation to help make my situation of the reason I had to rent moving items. Due to me unexpected move from a city I had just made the move to not a week before and was not a good thing that I packed up from my home of 11 yrs. to a new destination. Unfortunately a negative atmosphere Cyndee comforted me as a positive influence to make me look forward to a move back to my home state. She is a customer service that listens to the customer so that our travels will be a better ride and I did appreciate her for that. There should be more ladies to be as nice as Cyndee. fix your site. I scheduled pickup at 909 W 7th Street (I have a screenshot of that reservation - so that I was only a few blocks from where I was picking up a motorcycle. When I arrived the owner wasn't around. He arrived and informed me he had been scheduled to be out. We called a number to find out about my reservation only to find out that the trailer was at this location (43 Self Storage) -- 20 minutes away! If I hadn't needed to haul that motorcycle I would've cancelled my booking all together. I was supposed to be done by 1pm, but because I didn't get the trailer until noonish I didn't get done until after 3. This was a horrific experience - I will no longer use the uhaul site to reserve equipment AND if I can help it I won't use uhaul equipment again. Neither owner was at fault - this was solely a problem on the uhaul site. Both owners were quite accommodating and extremely polite.TIM O.

I called at 3:00pm to find out how late we could return a trailer. We were told 6:00pm. I got there with the trailer at 5:15pm and they were closed! I A sign on the door said 9-4 daily. I called the phone number and a woman told me to "just leave it." So I did. As far as I know it is still sitting there.DAVID L.
New employee. Very little training. No jack available to raise trailer up to hitch. Never rented a trailer before. Employee was very gracious and courteous, just not trained and without needed equipment.Micheal K.
