I would not recommend Uhaul. Harassed repeatedly to haul things not on my route. Uhaul changed the pickup location on 48hrs before pickup. A whole lot full of trucks in lot in El Centro but I had to go to Calexico to get one from a franchisee at a gas station parking lot with no supplies. I had to cancel my dolly and supply order or go to the El Centro store, drive past the trucks they wouldn't allow me to use and get the supplies. Wasting my time, gas, and mileage. Refused to deliver supplies to gas station pickup location or change pickup back to El Centro Uhaul office. Garbage custoner service with 800#. Gas station is dated, but the truck was nice and clean.parked to close to building to photograph at checkin clearly. One man, one truck operation. He is around just for the exchange. Not a storefront you can walk into at a whim to rent a truck. He did call to confirm I was picking up, because he was leaving at a specific time. Appreciate that. Would not recommend Uhaul. Moving states is already stressful. Their business practices for long distance moves made it worse.

Bad customer service Employees very rude Didn’t give me any type of receipt when turning in the truck, much less inspect the truck at time of the return, and they said that if I wanted a receipt, to go return the truck at another location, uhaul shouldn’t contract these type of people
Guillermo VAgain, great customer service. Inspection of the truck after driving 1600 miles excellent. Would recommend five brothers for a good drop off location on a one-way truck.
Ted M1. The rental location was moved on me, creating an additional hardship for me because I had to find a ride from El Centro where I was to Calexico. 2. When I arrived, the truck had not been prepared for pickup so they had to clean the cargo area and cab while we waited. Overall, the experience was bad. 3. Although I had the pick up the rental from a gas station, there was only 5/16 tank of fuel remaining. I was told to "leave the truck with the same amount of fuel".
