The truck was clean but the truck was badly in need of maintenance. I drove over 400 miles. The truck vibrated so badly the steering wheel shook so terribly that my arms hurt. It was a very unpleasant experience. I definitely would not have rented the vehicle had I known this.Jerry M.

US 80 Customs in Statesboro, GA is a great U-Haul distributor. The folks were very friendly, and help me hook up the trailer. If I have a need for a rental trailer or van in the future, I will choose U-Haul and US 80 Customs for sure.William B.
When I got my uhaul I was not greeted, they didn't have the uhaul I reserved. They didn't even give me enough miles to go to my location. So I was charged extra money because they didn't give me enough.Heather D.

I didn't realize until after I was on the road that the trailer number on the contract was different than the trailer number on the one I received. This created a LOT of problems trying to get the return of the trailer recognized and my account cleared. I spend HOURS dealing with trying to get this straightened out. Despite the fact that I took pictures and explained the problem when I dropped the trailer off using the after hours app. Doesn't seem like any of those photos or my comments about the trailer number went anywhere. My rental is was on 5/22 and it was returned on May 23. Just today (7/22) did it get resolved. 2 months later and several calls telling me that you had no record of me returning it.Jim H.

Hooked up myself, no one ever inspected it to see if I did it right or if anything worked. Packed up my son headed home soon as it was getting dark we realized that the lights did not work. Sat on the side of the road a couple of hours waiting on roadside assistance. A 2.5 hour trip turned in to 5.5 hours.Lorie E.

Very unfriendly people. Had to go to back of lot to obtain truck. They knew I had scheduled to pick up at a specific time, you woul think unit would be brought up front. The worst part was not AC. Driving for about an hour with hot air blowing in your face is not pleasant, 90+ temperature. Check in place was closed at 2 pm on Saturday and the link to self check in would not work, and was charged $20 fee, which I am disputing with my bank card. Last time to use UHaul, if needed, will use Penske.Ed M.
They decided to remove the two insurance coverages I opted in for when reserving online. Once I realized the issue when I received the email verification of the pickup it took 4 phone calls to different numbers and having to return the truck to the location to rectify the situation. We will never use U-Haul for one way travel ever again.zackary K.

They were of no assistance in trying to resolve my charges issue. But then neither was your customer service person that I called myself. I was quote $20 per extra day. Not $20 plus insurance charges. My bill more than doubled and they acted like their hands were tied. Nothing they could do for me. Very frustrating.Julie N.

I rented a car dolly. One of the tiedown straps was broken and tied back together. The passenger side brake light and turn signal did on work. I had to travel through five states hoping the strap would hold and that I would not get stopped due to the lights not working.Roy D.

was sent there by phone call instead of original store that still had reservation on record as I later found out. equipment was poor condition due to unusable security chains which as soon as I saw them, photoed them and returned it to the store where picked up. no one was there when I returned to exchange it so I left it and did not pick up vehicle as needed.richard R.
