Truck was near new at 14,000 miles and ran well. I was surprised that the 20 ft truck did not come with cruise control, an essential in my book with driving 3 hours. The 26 ft truck I had rented a couple of months before had cruise control. My recommendation to U-haul management is purchase all your new trucks with adaptive cruise control. It is enough of the stress for the person who does not drive a truck for living in keeping the truck centered and out of harms way. My car has adaptive cruise control, if added to the trucks they would automatically slow down when coming up behind another vehicles. This is a safety issue, for very little cost.

There was a large issue with our rental. We were contacted to pull a trailer behind our rental truck for a $50 cred, an extra day rental,and and an extra 100 miles. This part of the rental was totally botched. I was sent to a UHaul dealer that was only open until1:30 ( even though I stated I could not pick up until 2). I was then sent to another UHaul center who claimed they had no reservation for us to take a trailer back to Atlanta and no trailers on the premise. Called back and forth 5x with the IHaul rep. Finally gave up when she tried to send me to yet another dealer. Ridiculous incompetence and very frustrating customer service
