I would like to begin stating that the truck and trip I requested was to be for a one way trip. I was asked for the mileage which was 97 miles to the address I gave for my arrival. I get closer to the uhaul and once I arrive I am told that I would get charged over $600 for a fee for bringing the truck to a site different than the one I picked it up at. Come to find out the trip was set for local, and the truck I was given was not even a truck used to go one way! I drove almost a 2 hour trip with out having a car just to get rejected at closing saying the contract was set for in town. I called the location at 8000 Belvedere Rd. 5 times before any one answered and when they did the phone was set on the counter and just left. I could here the gentleman and ladies in the background just talking speaking in Spanish upset that the phone was ringing. I called Uhaul and was directed to Travel Management, Customer Service, and then told to wait for a Direct Travel Manager that would be there in the morning because they may be able to change the contract to what was originally ally spoke about. This means I would have had to have the truck for another night. I waited and once I was able to get a hold of someone, I was told I had to bring the truck back to it's original location. I have no car so what was I going to do? Bring it back and be stranded at a has station 2 hours away from where I now live. I had a meeting for work that I had to be at the next day, so I had to use the truck to get there (this was more moalage I got charged for, plus the extra day) but had it not been for a family member who was available to drive with me to the location I picked up at...the charges would have continued. I got charged for another day plus extra mialage due to a private contracting gas station and their lack of due diligence. The guy working was Bryan and he was apathetic in his conduct with his phone out and head phones in as well seeming irritated that I even wanted to rent. Not to mention the driver's seat and floor covered with ants so I had to drive with constant hitting of my legs! And the 2 small roaches I killed on separate occasions of getting in and out of the truck. I have worked with Uhaul many times and NEVER, had an experience like this! Roaches, ants, and extra charges due to a worker's lack of concentration to their job, and being bounced through 4 different lines of communication just to be told it's either another $600 that "you can get it on payments" and having to keep the truck another day because the location I rented from not answering the phone. Over the 2 day period (which should have been one day, on a one way trip) to then, once the phone was answered being set on the counter and then talked about in spanish (which they didn't know I understand and speak). This was VERY unprofessional and a slap in the face to this brand (Uhaul). I would not tell anyone to rent from them, and I need compensation as the situation I am in called for me to spend more than I could make up for at the time. I almost was not able to even get storage. What can be done for this? Thank you for taking the time to read this. I normally do not take time to write these things, but I have been in customer service most of my working life in some form or another, and this was not acceptable.

Eric EThe truck had a strong musky smell but otherwise was clean. It’s an old truck so it’s expected. The only issue we had, is that we got charged for gas but we made sure it was at the same level as we got it when it was given to us. We added the gas at the same station we rented from. This is unacceptable. I will write some reviews on google as well to let people know so they can be aware of this location.

NERLEY MThe initial pickup location was closed, despite the hours listed as open. No return calls after leaving voice mails. The truck was full of dirt - like someone had hauled bags of potting soil that spilled. The location did not have the blankets we reserved.

JUAN JThis location was kind of weird and they overcharged me and took my money out twice. Easy check in, but the checkout was not what I expected. You came in. You handed them the key and they throw it in a pile which dad took three phone calls for me to complete in order for them to reimburse me and or correct. My invoice would not recommend this place at all very sketchy.
NELSON MI’m a business that rents on average a couple of times a quarter. The 15’ truck i rented has fooled me twice with the fuel level. I got it to 3/4 then it jumped to full. Also, the inside windows were super dirty.

JUAN JMy original drop off was a tiny office on the back of a building with a one-way street (Enterprise Auto Design). I called them a dozen times that day and no one answered and no voicemail. I navigated to the back and knocked and knocked. Just as I was leaving, a guy came to the door and told me my truck was too big and to take it to 8000 Belvedere. He promptly closed the door and I was left speechless. I drove down to the address he spouted out, and found myself at a Mobil Gas station. I saw a lot of other trucks, but no spot for me to park. I parked next to another truck my size and when inside and was told my truck doesn't return there. I explained what happened and he was nice enough and told me to call a number he provided. After several minutes on hold I was helped and the truck was transferred without incident.

Austin LI originally rented my truck at a location on state road 7. When I called to confirm the rental they said my rental had been moved to the 8000 Belvedere location. I went and confirmed the rental with them and was good to go. The more I g of the rental I received a text saying my rental had been moved again to a location on Hypiloxo. I went to that location and that store was not even open on Sundays so I could not pick up my rental. I canceled that reservation and ended up renting a smaller truck at the 8000 Belvedere location. They were very friendly and accommodating.
WILLIAM MJust make sure enough staff is on hand to inspect the vehicle upon possession. Had no Idea there was an extra charge for the tow dolly/hand truck
RICKY HThey were rude, did not have the size truck i reserved . The truck the gave me was not working correctly. When they gave me another truck no one knew how to adjust the side mirrors. They refused to give me a receipt for the rebral, cancelation of the faulty truck and the refund receipt for the cancelation of the first truck . Then on the return, the refused to co.e out and xhrck the truck for any damages, milage used and gas gage. And again no receipt for the return of the truck . This was the worst experience I ever had renting a truck. NEVER GO THERE!!!!!

Calisha LThe AC went out on the rental truck within the next day and the alignment was out of wack. The location I guess was alright, but it was very difficult to navigate the truck because the parking was perimeter based and my personaal vehicle was left in a relatively open and, what I felt like, unsafe space. And being a gas station I had to wait in line with other customers who weren't renting a uhual so it was just kind of annoying. Really I didn't care about any of this until the AC went out and I was sweating like crazy for the rest of my rental.

Chelsea RTruck had sticky holders and trash inside when picked up. I ordered a dozen moving pads for $10, and there were none. I have no idea how to request a refund for the $10

JANE PKeep vehicles sanitized especially in the cabin. And if there is a language barrier like what was experienced upon return, have a translator for the customer to speak to so the rep can understand the customer and vice-versa.
ANDRO WDriver side wiper blade came off and we almost had an accident during heavy rain thunderstorms, Also we noticed the wipes were worn out my son put it back 2 more times and kept coming off my wife was in shock.

Nick LI was charged for fuel when I filled the truck to almost 6/8. I took a picture of the fuel gauge afterwards. I asked the store clerk to inspect, but he refused. He said that they inspect all trucks in the evening shift.
Tracy Wthe van was dirty, I found a bottle of water inside. The worst part is that there were cheap fines, my wife almost had a heart attack. it was very disgusting. I paid 83 dollars, I think they should give me a discount.
Helcio Cthe only problem i had was that the side mirrors is almost impossible to move them. they are not electrical but manually is extremely hard to adjust.

Audrene TAbsolutely terrible experience. Showed up and my truck wasnt ready so I had to settle for a smaller truck. Then said smaller truck was just disgusting inside, dirt and leaves everywhere, and giant puddles of water all over. To top it all off, I ordered a dolly and a dozen furniture pads. They didnt have the dolly, but they had furniture pads...which were covered in mulch. How is it even possible to fuck up that much?
