I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from U-Haul and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. My reservation was originally scheduled for pickup in Drummondville. The day before my rental, I called the location myself to confirm everything, only to be told that they did not have a truck for me. They gave me U-Haul's customer service number, and that's when I found out my truck had been reassigned to Cookshire-Eaton, a considerable distance from the original pickup location. The customer service representative assured me that the 12 moving blankets and the refrigerator dolly would be available at the new location. As compensation for this last-minute inconvenience, I was also told that my rental would include unlimited mileage. When I arrived in Cookshire-Eaton, the moving blankets were there, but the refrigerator dolly was not. As a result, I had to make an additional trip to Sherbrooke just to pick one up, wasting valuable time on moving day. When I returned the truck in Granby, I encountered yet another issue. The truck had been provided with a quarter tank of fuel, and I was instructed to return it with the same amount. I mistakenly overestimated the amount of fuel I needed and returned the truck with approximately half a tank more than required, representing roughly **$125 worth of fuel**. I received absolutely no compensation for this surplus. To make matters worse, despite having been explicitly told by customer service that I had unlimited mileage because of the change in pickup location, the return location still attempted to charge me for excess mileage. I do want to point out that the staff at the Cookshire-Eaton location were excellent. They were courteous, professional, and did everything they could with the information they had. They are not responsible for the issues I experienced. My dissatisfaction is with U-Haul's overall management and customer service. The lack of communication between departments, conflicting information, unfulfilled promises, and failure to resolve problems turned what should have been a simple truck rental into a frustrating experience. For these reasons, I cannot recommend U-Haul. The company needs to significantly improve communication and coordination between its customer service department and its rental locations if it wants to provide a reliable customer experience.

J'ai réservé deux semaines avant pour le récupérer a 8h30, malheureusement la veille de chaque réservation, je reçois des messages pour me dire que le camion est disponible que 14h30. Sinon ça c'est bien passé. Un grand merci a vous

J'avais choisi cet emplacement lors de ma réservation 1 semaine avant la location. entre temps le système de Uhaul a changé l'emplacement de prise en charge et de retour pour un emplacement a 50km. je me suis tout de même rendu a l'emplacement original et ils ont tout arrangé. merci

Uhaul told me with only one day before my move that the location I booked months in advance doesn't even exist, despite it being on their site. I was forced to make special arrangements for a big move for a new location. 15 minutes before the new scheduled pickup, I called them and had to find out that my truck wasn't even available, and they sent me to a new location which would only be open in 2 hours. In total, my move was set back 3 hours because of U-Haul and it ruined the day. I will never use this company again, and will spend my life convincing others to do the same.

J'avais fait une location d'un cube pour samedi le 30 mai a 7h30 AM, finalement cela à été changé pour 17h30. En arrivant sur place, on me dit qu'il n'y a pas de camion pour moi car il a été amené à une autre destination. Par chance, je suis resté sur place pour appelé le service à la clientèle et un cube est arrivé 15 minutes plus tard. J'ai donc pu partir avec ce dernier mais j'ai commencé mon déménagement à 19h. Très très déçu de mon expérience, je ne recommande à personne!

The light and the beeping sound were always on and beeping for a trouble handbrake , the airbag light was on, and on top of that, the price is way too high for the short time and mileage I drove!!!

Just so you know, transport dollies are not available at U-Haul. It would be great to have better management of the operating hours for the different truck drop-off locations; this would be highly beneficial because I ran into issues when trying to return my truck at night. The place where I was told to drop off the truck was closed, which caused me a lot of trouble over the weekend. On the bright side, customer service is available, which is good. I would recommend U-Haul to friends, but I'd warn them that dollies might not be available and advise them to carefully check the drop-off locations and their opening hours before booking a reservation

This is by far the second worst U-Haul experience and customer service isn't any help your last person black listed me because you overcharged me for the second time and tried blaming me.

Worker was 15 minutes late, truck was missing dolly that i have ordered so I had to drive to another Uhaul location and pick up my dolly. Wasted 30 minutes of my reserved time. Worker at other location was very nice and cooperative.

I had reserved a dolly and blankets and was told upon arrival that it is never an option since it’s only a pickup/dropoff. Why would the website offer that if it is not possible??

Truck was not ready at the time we selected. Only got it 2 hours later. Wipers were tighten by elastics so we couln't use them properly. Even one was bent in a V shape...

J'ai rendu le camion dimanche. Les stationnement n'étaient pas déneigé. Il a été difficile de laisser le camion quelque part et aucune indication où poser les clés après.
