The equipment was clean but the trailer had a leak in the roof that ended up soaking one of my chairs. The rain was the whole reason I rented an enclosed trailer. This is very disappointing. The location and the service I recieved was excellent, but the trailer having a leak was a major issue in my opinion.

Vera NLocation was great. Uhal was awful. Uhal called me 15 minutes before pick up to tell me they do not have my truck. That the closet truck was 1 hour away. I came from out of state. I had No other choice than to drive the hour out of my way to get the truck just to drive an hour back. Then 3 hrs back to Tennessee. Uhal refunded me $50. Highly unprofessional!! I would give Uhal zero stars!!

Don MGrease the equipment, that is the tow dolly. The rachet for both sides was ery hardt to move. Put instructions video on how to enter a fuel station with a lot of cars around. I had to and nearly hit a pole with the tow dolly.

He has a great personality sense of humor very heartwarming to go to a business and the people treat you as though you are old friends. He explained everything, especially answered questions i didn't think to ask. I didn't have any problems. If I could give more stars I would.
Michael RThe only reason I rate it below average is because I had to drive 20 miles out of my way to get it and 20 miles back to my pickup location before leaving once again for my final destination…yet I was not given an extra 40 miles to make up for the extra distance (and time) I had to travel…then I was charged extra, due to the additional mileage. I passed multiple U-Haul places on the way to pick it up AND reserved the rental a week prior. Also, while using the app, it crashed several times (on a new phone). Frustrating experience.

Dennis JI had a reservation for a 10 x 20 truck but after waiting in line for 45 mins or so I was informed they didn’t have a truck for me. We had to drive an hour north then an hour back to get the only truck available they did extend my return time by 3 1/2 hours and gave 40 extra miles but that did little for my feelings. No point making a reservation if y’all may or may not have what I reserved.

Sherry LSite Manager Philip Gold rescued an otherwise terrible experience with your mobile app based check-in for my 730am pickup of the truck. I was not allowed the lock code for the keys after several attempts. The App kept saying it could not verify my location in front of the key station. My cell phone was getting perfect reception and my location was turned on and working just fine. Mr Gold arrived and did a manual check-in and gave me the keys. I left with the truck at 930AM. The Movers were sitting Idle for 1.5 hours till I arrived with the truck. Extra cost of $383 for them. Never again using the app!! Harry Parant 803-707-9457

Pam WAfter the death of my husband, I spoke with management about changing names on the account from his name into mine. The manager on duty (Philip) told me that it was ok to leave the storages units in my husbands name as I planned to clean them out anyhow. I returned at a later date to get some things from the storage units to find that locks were changed. I spoke with the manager who said that someone came in and reported they were a family member of mine and that they had lost the keys to the units. The manager informed me that he had cut the locks off and allowed for placement of new locks by someone other than myself. I once again spoke to this same manager about how my husband had passed and I was the administrator of his estate in which I could provide documentation to prove. I questioned how just anyone could come and provide my phone number and be allowed access to my units especially not having a key. The manager stated he just trusted them. The manager provided a description of the 2 individuals and the car they were in but stated that video footage wasn’t available. The code to the gate had been changed as well as the email address on my account without any contact from this facility. I would expect at least a phone call for verification allowing someone else access to my storage units, especially after the subject had stated they didn’t have keys to the units. Due to lack of security of my belongings, I would not recommend this location for storage.

Melvin HU-Haul reservation system sucks big time. Twice in less than a month they have screwed me on my reservation. Thankfully, a whole different U-Haul location, the " A Park & Store" U-Haul dealer was able to help me out at the last minute with no reservation just a walk-in. If anyone in the area is in need of a U-Haul I highly recommend "A Park and Store" U-Haul dealer.

Steve GAfter signing me in, I was told that I should have put more gas in the truck than was was in it to begin with. Needle was on F when I got it and on F when brought back. I told attendant I would drive next door and put more in it. He said, no. I already have u checked in now. I was also called and asked to bring back truck early as they were closed on Wed am. I asked for a rebate from UHAUL for returning truck early and was told No. I could have carried it back later even if closed. I got no rebate but I’m sure UHAUL got to capitalize by rerenting this same truck for the same period. Sounds like a class action suit to me. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and also never using UHAUL again.
