This has nothing to do with the location or equipment. My problem was I had my order changed in a major way. I ordered a pickup and trailer from a place in town. Instead you stuck me with a box truck from the place I picked and then sent me to a place 40 minutes away to pick up the trailer. I used a ton of gas getting to and from my location because of the box trucks mpg. I am not a happy customer.Weston B.

Yes, the service I received was helpful and they were there to answer all my questions on safety worry's from weight limits to how to load trailers (60% to the front/ 40% to the rear). They hooked up the trailer while I watched , helped do a walk around operation check and were very professional at their job.HOWARD D.

Your check in via website doesn't do well for military members. I have a MIL extention on my DL and it wouldn't let me enter it. It was very frustrating that this happened day of the moveEric V.
Don't bother to go anywhere else in Hopkinsville if you need to rent U-Haul equipment. Mark at A+ on 9th street is THE BEST. I've tried the others, and was invariably disappointed, inconvenienced, or the truck I'd reserved wasn't even available. Don't waste your time with them, just rent thru Mark.KAREN G.

I was a bit "surprised" that at the close of the rental I was told I could not pay cash. This was a personal move (not corporate) and was told the only way to pay cash was to pay cash + deposit at the START of the rental. I am unsure of the policy to not allow the customer to pay cash at the close of the rental. I reserved the truck for 8 hours, only used it for 4 hours and I totally understand paying for the entire 8 hours. However, in ALL my previous 15 + rentals with UHAUL in the past few years, I have been allowed to pay cash at the close of the rental agreement EVERYTIME. Is this a franchisee decision? I would like to know for future rentals. If I cannot pay cash at the close of the rental, when the facility is OPEN, I will choose another rental moving facility. Thank you! Jeff SmithJEFFREY S.

It had leaves in it. Blankets were not all folded up. I was not told what all we were supposed to do when we took it to the location in Lebanon Tennessee.TERESA H.
I was supposed to pick up in Cadiz,Ky. Made my reservation 3 weeks in advance. I showed up on moving day to get my uhaul and the location was closed. No call or email or any attempts were made to let me know. Then had to go to Hopkinsville, Ky 45 min away to pick up. Set me behind right from the jump. Receives emails the morning of the move to check in on line ect.... no mention about the location being closed. Wasnt given a discount at all or even an apology. I was charged for insurance I denied twice with the customer service agent over the phone. I had to call uhaul 3 times and wait on average one hour each time to speak to anyone because I was charged anyway. Now I had to get my bank involved because uhaul wouldn't do the right thing and refund my money. I spent over $300.00 renting a truck and had to drive a hour away to pick up the truck and return it. My bank is still in the process of resolving this issue with uhaul.JOAN H.

I rented the uhaul I called to extend one day out but ended up bringing the truck back on time minus I brought the truck back at 12:30 that afternoon and got charged a full day for being three hours short of having the truck back on time! I paid over 600.00 for a one way for a six hour drive! I was not happy with the service what a rip off uhaul company is!CHRISTINA T.

I was 1st scheduled Jasper Indiana they did not have Then I was told to go to Evansville Indiana I drove an hour and 10 minutes later I got down there they did not have a truck at this location either So as I was there for an hour and a 1/2 I got told the closest truck was in Kentucky So I had to drive another hour and 15 minutes south So because a poor management I had to drive 5 hours round trip out of my way For them to tell me we're going to give you 200 miles free Because they had no choice This is very horrible customer service The best thing about This horrible trip Was the man or I picked up the u-haul from afrome have the most amazing amazing customer service ever ypu should promote that man to district manager maybe a regionalDUSTIN G.

Personnel were very friendly and helpful but truck smelled of stale cigarette which was horrible and the interior was not all that clean and has trash in it. Return was a pain as the mileage was less than what was on the contract. The owner did take care of that promptly and apologized which was very nice. Overall the owner was great and the truck did what it was designed to do.Michael G.

Only thing I would suggest is that truck windows be cleaned. Not a problem unless facing sun. My car and truck both have same problem, apparently chemicals in dash cause film to develop on windshield when vehicle is not in service and locked up (no air flow).TOMMY N.
