There was a discrepancy in the amount per mile which was explained to me than what was actually charged. There was no mention of a $14.00 charge for insurance and we received no kind of contract beforehand. The place we picked the uhaul up from was dark, cold and very dirty. I realize it's a tire place but when the salesman had to use his phone flashlight for light and you had to stand single file waiting to be helped because there was very limited space made the experience very uncomfortable.patricia D.

Steering veered left alot - Drop off easy did not deal with anyone - Even though I only needed the truck for a day I was charged and had to pay for an entire weekend! Did not get a refund of two days! Tried to charge me for a cleaning and refunded money $10 for lack of blankets requested! Never again!Kasey C.

A terrible looking place in a bad part of town that your company switched me to at the last minute. It was further away than the place I booked 2 weeks in advance and the personnel there were not friendly and borderline incompetent. If someone books a truck at a specific location, you need to make sure the truck is there. I won't be back.Steve R.
This is not against the location. The uhaul software was buggy and made equipment check out take longer than expected. The shop owner had to call support twice to get me checked out.ELWOOD C.

Too slow. Blankets dirty, not folded. Cashier kept putting wrong informstion in for credit card. Help had to talk to me snd fo it correctly. Cashier kept imterrupting my transaction to desl with tire related customers.Sharon B.
The place was a dump. Old tires stacked everywhere and trash laying around. The most disorganized, busniess I have ever seen. The place was a disgrace to the U-Haul name. The attendant ended up calling the help number so someone could process the rental.Timothy W.

This location was the worst I have experienced - almost no room for anyone to navigate a car dolly or vehicle at this location. Was asked to drive thru another properties parking lot to be able to drop off the dolly as the parking lot was not big enough. Helpers at the location were not trained and may have damaged my hitch - clearly untrained. Location was not clean at all. Was not impressed - if all locations for Uhaul would be like this I would never have used Uhaul again.ROGER R.

Truck was very dirty, smelled bad, like the engine was overhauled inside the cab. Windows were about 3 generations past needing cleaning. Trying to get the truck for 3 days was a LARGE hassle, I ended up settling for 2 days because it was booked for the 3rd and no way around that. Price was right.JOHN C.

The people at "A Plus Tire & Batteries" were great! The only problem was the customer service issue that moved me from O'Fallon. I would not recommend U-Haul, but I would recommend "A Plus Tire & Batteries."Aaron M.
They were very un-organized at the location, it took 15-20 minutes to get the truck. The truck wasn't loaded with our rented equipment. We were using the truck for an in town move and we informed the location that we may need the truck for an additional few hours, beyond our 24. We were told that it wouldn't be a problem at all, we would just be charged for those hours. The following day at noon we recieved a phone call stating the truck was due back and we needed to have it back ASAP. When we asked why this was ocuring since we had stated we would need it a few extra hours and told it wasn't a problem, we were then told that the truck was rented out for a noon pick-up. When we returned the truck we were then charged for a second day since we had the truck an additional 45 minutes. We have used U-Haul several times and have never had such poor costumer service!William R.

We rented the truck 10 min before we got there so the truck was dirty... They took it , cleaned it, swept , mopped and gave us pads so the wet floor wouldn't get our stuff wet. They were friendly and accommodating . They are a tire company so they themselves were dirty and working.... So many of the other comments are very judgmental most likely from outwards appearance alone . We had no issue with them and their trucks were pretty new! I would use them again in a heartbeat . Absolutely amazed this place is allowed to rent UHaul equiptment. If any corporate UHaul representative came by this awful shop there is no doubt in my mind this place would get it's franchise revoked. This location was completely disorganized and none of the staff on location had a solid grasp on procedures for renting equipment to customers. I waited in excess of 15 minutes just to get my reservation straightened out. Then the printer ran out of ink which pretty much brought the whole shop to a standstill. No one knew how to put ink in a basic desktop printer so add another 25 minutes to my wait time. After it was all said and done I was there for over 30 minutes and ended up leaving with the auto-hauler with no receipt of the transaction and without signing any paperwork of any kind. If you get stuck with this location, refuse immediately and find a different one!Justin L.

This location was hands down the worst experience of my life. Unorganized, slow, not friendly, and dirty. I was supposed to receive a dolly and never did. I called and asked about it and they just directed me to a customer service representative. I fear for anyone to get a uhaul from this location.daniel W.

I reserved a car hauler to be picked up at 5:45pm. Problem is they closed at 5pm. Should not of confirmed the time if they were closed. Had to go the next morning delaying my trip by 4 hours. Next morning my reservation had been cancelled because I did not pick the trailer up. What a mess but not A Plus Tires fault in my opinion. Had to start all over the next morning.Terry M.

The trailer leaked from the from. I was hauling new wood cabinets and they were wet from the rain. I picked up the trailer on Friday at 3:30 P.M. and returned it Sunday at 2:00 and was charged for 4 days. Go Figure.DON O.
The truck was dirty. When speaking to them on the phone they had a hard time understanding me and then had difficulty getting the computer to turn on. They did not seem familiar with the paperwork and making changes using he computer they hand wrote the corrections to the mileage rather than updating and reprinting the contract. I will NEVER use U-haul again. Their customer service is horrid (yes, the actual corporate U-haul; not the satellite locations, per se). I reserved a 10 ft truck for a Saturday, at which time I was told I would receive a call to confirm the reservation one day prior. I didn't receive a call, so I called them. I was then told (WITH MAJOR ATTITUDE) "in all honesty, we have some families waiting for these trucks for up to 2 mos; we have pushed yours to Monday."....REALLY?? REALLY???? Rude, unaccommodating, no customer service skills whatsoever! Review your customer service skill and parameters with your employees. They have no idea what the words 'customer service' mean, literally!terry K.
The gentlemen at the drop-off location, A Plus Batteries and Tire, were very helpful and friendly. The google map directions were not very clear and they were helpful in getting us to their location. They were closing up their business at that location for the day and were still welcoming and made me feel comfortable while I waited for my pick-up ride to find his way there.PHIL T.

Be more professional and prepared. Know your systems and procedures better and present them to your customer in a professional fashion. Know what you are talking about prior to sharing it with the customer as initially I was charged for 7 times the actual mileage and was upon me to prove the inaccurate mileage which cost me additional hour or so of my time.
