The 26-ft truck I rented was next-to-new (8000 mi), but had already taken a "hit" by a prior user, tearing-off 1/3 of the "under-skirting" on the right side. I was told by the agent that they had taken photos of the damage, and sent them to my email. I trusted them to have done that, just as I was told. BUT, when I arrived at my destination, "incident-free", the agent there enlightened me to the fact that the photos which had been sent to me showed NO damage whatsoever_!?! Fortunately, when she called the agent-of-origin, the admission was made that they HAD sent me "original" photos, because THEY (at the originating end) DID NOT HAVE the capability of taking, and uploading, new photo-images. [Probably true...running out of a quite, uh, "antiquated" shack.] I *will* add that everyone was personable, and very helpful loading my car onto the Auto-Transport, explaining things very well. All's well that ends well.... TAKE YOUR OWN PHOTOS...!

I reserved a furniture dolly and was charged for it. When we picked the trailer up we were informed they didn’t carry dollies at that location and that we would be reimbursed that money. We were not reimbursed.

The place where we rented the trailer was great, and the man was very helpful in suggesting how we could make it work even though a truck was not available. This place was great. The problem was the lady I spoke with at 1800-Uhaul. She was most unhelpful, bordering on rude. I hung up after waiting on hold to speak to a manger. Then I called back to the place in Monroeville that helped me work things out. Again, he was great and most helpful. Everything worked out in the end.

Very disappointed with uhaul. They waited till the last minute to tell me the truck I wanted couldn't be gotten which is now gonna cost me an extra 300 mile trip plus renting another uhaul. If I had known this ahead of time, I would have done something differently. Then I was charged an extra $20 just because I booked my trailer differently. Oh did I mention the back or the front of the truck was clean!!!

I was wrongfully charged for mileage that I was allowed protected by my contract. I received a email charging my credit card for $46.01 extra without my permission. ??

Turned truck and trailer in on a Monday and it was not checked in until Thursday after I had received two call from the MCO traffic Dept about when I was going to turn the equipment. I’m hoping that I don’t have any charges that I’m going to be charged? The trailer worked fine but the truck was a hard rider overall Uhaul is still the best for the Money!

There was nothing more than fill out the paperwork and say bye. Was told just hook up and go. I would have expected someone to help me connect to make sure I did it correctly. Also, I had reserved 20 blankets/pads and they said they don't have any and never have had any. If they don't have them, why wasn't I notified of this ahead of time so I could have planned for them instead of having to run around last minute trying to find some.

There was nothing wrong with the location. But I will never rent a u-haul again. There is no way that it should cost to pull a trailer any where for $166. Outrageous.

The staff at this location acted as if I was troubling them to be there. They were not welcoming at all. Not that they were rude or anything. They acted as if I was inconveniencing them. I have use this location once before and felt the same way.

My preferred pick up location was Demopolis Alabama. I was assigned Butler AL (53 miles south of Demopolis) to pick up UHaul. When I arrived, the truck was there but no keys (which had been reported to UHaul but they rented the truck anyway). So, I was then sent another hour south of Butler to pick up my rental truck. So, I was 2 hour south of Demopolis and then has to drive an additional 2 hours back north to reach Demopolis and start loading the UHaul. At that time, we discovered a flat back tire. 2 years ago we rented a UHaul that ran hot the entire time. They sent a repair person out and all they did was put water in it. A 3 hour trip turned into a 5 hour trip because we had to keep pulling over to let it cool off. This is my LAST UHaul rental. I'll go with a different company next time.

Have the right equipment that is ordered online, way ahead of the move, available at the pick up point desired vs 64 miles away round trip. No $50.00 refund given from corporate reservations.

Very poor service, too long waiting ever after preregistration. Truck and trailer not ready - called me at 4:12pm and said they were closing at 4:30pm - sign inside office said they were open till 5:30pm / could not finish my lunch. Had issues with Debit card.

The man here told me the lights were working and I trusted him since I picked it up in the day light. When I got ready to use the trailer in the dark, the lights on the right side of the trailer were not working and I had to drive it with non-working lights.

The tow dolly rented was in AWFUL shape. The left fender was broke, the swivel didn't swivel with a car on it, and the lights didn't work.

Tiffany could'nt get my reservation correctly. She kept giving me a different amount to pay other than what I was told. Her co worker was very unprofessional....my cousin picked up the uhaul up for me and told me both of them were eating fish plates while trying to assist him. Terrible service and I would never pick up from this location

This authorized retailer is a car sales lot, used tire sales, Uhaul, and purses and phone accessories store. That should explain it.

Clean the cab and the storage area of the truck. Get the truck to me when promised - not 45 mins. late Have the materials I requested - I needed 24 storage pads and the place only had 6. I had to make an additional stop!

The lady was nice but there was confusion when I brought it back. The internet was down Friday when I picked the truck up so she had to call upper management and do it over the phone. Didnt have documentation with the beginning mileage and the gas was slightly under full which wasn't a big deal. My move was in town which consisted of 5-8 miles. upon return they tried to hit me with 175 miles. She was not rude but she was between a rock and a hard place. She only charged my card the in town price which probably made her side look bad. Promise I did not go 175 miles but want it cleared up so I can do business again. I should have had her write it down and I should have paid more attention myself.

High rubber tires had 1 lady working and she would not even listen to what I was trying to explain to her. She acted like I was trying to rip y'all off. Does not have a night drop off so I had to return the next day with the key. Even tho everything was ok except the truck was only 1/4 tank lower than it was when I took it. She just kept telling me I would b barred from renting again. If that's the case keep it!!! I would rather pay more and get better service than pay less and have to deal with all this mess!

Everything was good, and the emploee was very polite and helpful. It did not take her long to get me on my way. Thanks for that. The only problem I have which is not with her, it is my deposit. I gave my deposit in cash, yet I have to wait on my deposit to be sent by check. I just wished that I was told up front. Nut all in all great and again the service from my drop off location was next to none. Perfect!

I had requested the trailer from the U-Haul website. The trailer was ready for pick-up at the designated time. I received prompt service . For those who try to find HIGH RUBBER TIRES on google maps- don't! Google maps gave wrong directions, again!

I will never rent from Uhaul again! I had the worst experience imaginable, at least dealing with High Rubber Tires. First of all, the truck that was reserved for me wasn't delivered to the correct pick-up location. It was supposed to be delivered to Community Mart in Mexia, AL, where I'd already given all of my information to purchase the rental. Secondly, I wasn't even contacted by uhaul or anyone to let me know that the pick up location had been changed. I called Community Mart (my original pick up location) and was told to contact High Rubber Tires. The staff at High Rubber Tires was EXTREMELY inexperienced. I was originally told by the Uhaul dealer at Community Mart (who remained helpful through the entire situation) that if I paid for my rental with a debit/credit card, there would be no deposit fee. However, when I showed up to High Rubber Tires, the young lady working there could not get my card information to go through. I was told by her, the Community Mart dealer, and Uhaul customer service that my only option was to pay cash. I made an extra trip to the bank, got the cash out of the same account that had been "declined" and returned to High Rubber Tires. This trip was made in vain because after being told that I'd have to pay the extra $100 deposit fee, my total remained the same as if I would have paid with my debit card, which was around $188. I also had questions regarding my rental contract, but every time I asked the young lady working the desk at High Rubber Tires, her response was "I'm not sure" and "This is only my second day working here." She was inexperienced for the situation at hand, and should not have been left alone to deal with it. I have to agree that they were also unprofessional, having food and drinks laying among the desk. Even when I paid the cash for my rental, the young lady had no change in her drawer so her brother paid me cash out of his pocket. It was a very unprofessional environment and I will not recommend it to anyone. And lastly, the Uhaul truck ran hot 3 different times while traveling to my destination, which was only 2 hours away. I contacted Uhaul customer service, only to be directed to a recording, with no help at all. My experience was nothing but ridiculous, and I'll never deal with Uhaul again.
