I booked a self-serve pickup but that wasn't available and the process took 25 minutes from arrival to leaving with the truck. WORSE? I booked a $39.99 truck for 4 hours and drove 10 miles and I was charged over $100!! The â€œfuel chargeâ€ of $30 was NEVER Disclosed or made clear verbally or during the reservation process. ACTUAL was $70 higher than what was quoted.HEATHER B.

My truck pickup was changed to a gas station in West Palm beach instead of Jupiter. When I took the truck the guy said it was in fine shape and had less than 1/8 tank of gas. I drove the car 1/4 mile up Route 1 to get gas. As I was filling the tank I noticed that the rear dooley was almost flat. I finished filling the tank for over $90 and then returned the truck to the station. Gas station guy made contact with your office who told me they would only credit me $50 for the gas. When I objected the rep told me they would open a case with her supervisor who would contact me. No one ever called and I am still out $94 in gasJohn G.

I don't think Uhaul gets to be their priority in a grocery store so I would not recommend this pick up location. The truck was mostly clean but I can't say well maintained. The wipers were streaky and the truck pulled to the right.Fred M.
I don't usually respond to surveys because I get way too many, but this deserves some feedback to help you improve. I signed in on the app as directed and filled out all details. Went inside to get key and then had to spend 20 minutes with a clerk who didn't understand process and kept me waiting while he tried to figure it out online. Showing him the app approval had no value to him. He finally gave up and gave me the key. Truck was filthy inside the cab. Dirt all over the floorboards, multiple empty bottles, candy wrappers, and a half eaten rotting banana on the floor. Back of van was generally ok, but wasn't swept out of various items. I threw out the trash items, but did not vacuum the truck.don B.

Uhaul picked this place to drop off. After being on the road for 9 days I pulled in and the guy behind the counter told me to take it somewhere else they don't take trailers.Darren S.

THIS LOCATION AND THE MALE EMPLOYEE WERE THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER. He didn't know how to work the U-haul laptop to rent the vehicles, and asked me to help him with the previous customer because he couldnt understand what he was reading, and even asked me to read the screen for him to complete my own rental. I waited 45 minutes while he helped the previous customer, who ended up leaving without a rental, because the employee couldn't figure out how to rent it to him. He barely spoke any English, he did not walk around the truck to review it before the rental, he handed me the keys and pointed to the direction of the truck outside, and his overall customer service was HORRIBLE. Why bother to have a Uhaul at this location, only to ruin the company reputation? After I returned the rental, he was again of no assistance in explaining all the charges on my receipt and said to call Uhaul if I had questions, which I did because I ended up being over billed. I went back to this location and another employee who was worse than the first, gave me his cell phone number and said to call him in the morning? His personal cell phone? WTH? This was THE WORST rental experience I've ever had, and would not encourage anyone to shop this location, let alone rent anything. IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE RATING I WOULD. HORRIBLE AND GROSS TO EVEN ENTER THE DOOR.Tammy N.
When I tried to explain my situation with the fuel guard I was informed that no worries and everything was ok. I picked a truck with a half tank and returned with half tank. And now I'm being charged more than the contracted rate. I will be disputing the $72 charge.Michael H.
