I had a terrible experience with someone in scheduling. Whoever booked my reservation also set it to be dropped off over half an hour away from my house, instead of the drop off location next to my house. After over an hour of calls, they couldn’t do anything for me. And due to having to drive so far for drop off, it pushed us over the 50 mile rule which caused me to pay more out of pocket. I will be using Home Depot moving forward. I’ve had much better experience and no unexpected fees tacked on

Maggie ZBad customer service. I had to leave my 10lb dog outside in 100 degree whether while the rude male clerk took too long to complete the transaction. While no dogs may be the business "policy" sometimes there has to be some allowance. I should've been allowed to pick her up as she is very small. If it wasn't for being ran around from location to location as reservations were not fulfilled multiple times at several locations I wouldn't have had her with me. Noted, I won't be back .😊

Jerenate TAs I was returning the truck there was a homeless person circling the dumpster. As I was taking photos of the back of the truck three people in a van pulled up and just looked at me with their windows rolled down. It did not feel safe at all. So it was either finish the process at the risk of my own safety. Or pay a ridiculous $20 fee for you to take back your own equipment. However, the gentleman that checked me in was very courteous and professional.
brian bBe considerate of your customer. We shouldn’t have to show up for a truck only to find out it Is not onsite and we have to go somewhere else. The vehicles need to be somewhat clean if for no Other reason than safety. The staff I dealt with had no regard nor knowledge of what was going on or empathy for the customer.

James M | Overall ExperienceThey charged me for appliance dolly but gave me a utility, charged me after hours fee but it was an App pickup and drop off that I got at 9am and turned in at 630pm, charged me a cleaning fee but only.moved a few items of furniture so I def didn't get it dirty.

He charged me another day and then he charged us for gas. Rather than say go replace it he wanted to charge us and return the truck immediately. Horrible representation of the company

If it wasnt for the customer service person on the phone (not alexis via chat) i would have taken my business to home depot and rented a van in person without the nonsense of the online tool/process on my phone. Awful!! U-Haul is lucky to have quality customer service reps on the phone keeping your business afloat.

Moneeb TI picked up a 26 ft truck, and was told as part of the routine, to return the truck with a full tank of gas. I drove for 70 miles and the tank was on empty. purchased 35 gallons of gas, got the tank to 3/4 full. I covered 200 plus miles on 1/2 tank. therefore if the previous renter did as i was told to do, I would not have to spend so much on gas that night. I believe I am owed , should be refunded for gasoline that I purchased, at the 70 miles point. That should have been in that truck when I rented it. Also the location is not safe for anyone to return a vehicle at nights. the return location should be the Airport Thruway location.

Michael RThe truck was parked at the building next door. There was no one around to ask for assistance as the lock box didn't want to open. Then as I was returning the truck the older lady was just standing outside the storage shaking her head as I was trying to park it in a small spot.

Joseph LThe truck I was renting was getting air in a tire when I arrived, and I was told it came in with low pressure on the gauge, but the tire was fine. Within 50 miles I had to call for a new tire because it was going flat. They should have done a proper tire inspection.
