As a person who rents car for the first time, I don’t know that I need to refill the gas tank to the original value. It is not clear in the pick-up instructions at all that I need to refill before return. It is only after I started the return process and the app calculated the gas prices and some gas refill service fee that I realized that I can refill the gas by myself to avoid the service fee. This type of fee charge was not clearly warned at pick up and I was extremely frustrated by this fee which I could have avoided easily.
