Amazing. Convenient.
Casie CTruck’s gas tank was empty when we picked it up… We also ordered blankets and a dolly, but these were not provided because the location didn’t have any. We got refunded, but it caused a huge inconvenience and my furniture got scratched since we didn’t have blankets.
William WThe ACL rental company themselves were really great! This was my first time ever renting a U-Haul. I really should have picked up the truck while ACL was in the office because the after hours check in online was a absolute nightmare. Online forms that would error out, I had to call the 24/7 line a couple of times because the online forms would not let me go on because of some kind of error. The 24/7 line eventually just resorted to asking me the questions over phone about an hour past when my pick up time was supposed to be. Finally getting the truck almost an hour past pick up time caused stress and anxiety for the rest of the evening. Since I was finally getting the truck almost an hour past my pickup time, I was almost an hour late to meet the guy I was picking stuff up from. I was an almost an hour late to the drop off location of where I was dropping this stuff off. Just stress and anxiety from start to finish. I bet ACL is a great company and are very helpful. This is just my rating for U-Haul as a whole.
Anthony DU-Haul the company can get their website to work when returning a vehicle during off hours. I couldn’t return the vehicle using your website. Had to leave my paper copy in the box. The location I picked my U-Haul up from was most excellent!! The staff was outstanding!!

Shelby GI was charged for cleaning of a truck when I cleaned the truck myself. I was also charged for gas after I replaced the gas.

Oh my God the Customer service was so Warm and advised the best options for my rental needs. Very Professional and Great attitude all in one. I will definitely recommend this particular location because it was recommended to me. Job Well Done

Carol OI should not have returned the call from this site regarding my reservation. The end result was a confusing exchange that resulted in a higher charge, even though nothing had changed. The return process is more complicated than necessary, and I received no reply to my legitimate question about an additional charge. This is the company's fault, not the site's, but this is the communication avenue that U-Haul provides. In short--the company should be clear with customers that it will overcharge them at every opportunity, that it will require them to search for documentation of all charges, and that the return process will be more complicated than packing the truck. Finally, the note on this page: "Your comments will be posted for public viewing. Please do not enter any personal information. If you need a response from us, please use our contact form," and the link provided, do not lead to a "contact form." I have had some good experiences with U-Haul. This wasn't one of them.

Destiny CThe U-Haul website had conflicting information. I was supposed to do the mobile pickup at 7am but when I got there and clicked the link the site said I had to wait until 9 to do it in person. It was a stressful start to a hard day and I should have been offered a discount but I wasn't. I wasn't even offered an apology for all the inconveniences.
Austen BI was told the rental was good for 24 hours. Used the truck less than 6 hours and returned same day. Was charged for 2 days. Cleaning fee was charged even though we only hauled a few items (none were dirty) and 2 of us swept the truck out afterward anyway. Rental lady argued that she had to clean up a mess, which was a total lie. Her regional manager is supposedly taking extra charges off, but this was ridiculous to have to deal with. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Michael OThey unjustly charged me a cleaning fee. The truck was not dirty in any way - it was in the exact condition that it was rented in. Tried to call and talk to location and they were rude, wouldn’t listen and lied that corporate made them charge it. I think they charged it because I dropped it off at night and could because I wasn’t there to dispute.

Charles WI called ahead of time to rent a trailer only to get there and it had a tail light & turn signal that was not working. That is wrong on many different levels.

Sandra HWhen a customer is at the door and you have locked it before you posted time you close, maybe don’t just look at them in the rain, maybe go and at least say we are closed. The staff just looked at us, we had to walk around the building to figure out where the boxes were on the building. There were lots of problems with this truck, I reported at checkout and check in.

Margaret CThe lady who was supposed to be working didn’t show up to work that day and she didn’t load our dolly that we rented and paid for into the uhaul, so we spent 3 hours driving around to many different uhauls/ other places trying to find one to rent, putting miles on my own car and using my own gas, and ended up having to purchase our own dolly which was $130 when we were supposed have the one we rented for $12. There was also only less than a 1/4 of a tank of gas when we picked the uhaul up. We lost 3 hours of our time due to the issues which caused us to not have help moving because we had a set time schedule with moving helpers. Not only that, we also lost $142 due to having to purchase our own dolly after we paid for a dolly through this location and it was not in the truck and we could not get ahold of the lady supposed to be at the store. Not to mention, it said open on the door until 12 yet no one was there.

Kelley GI selected to do a quick pick up to Skip the line. When I arrived I had completed everything online and was prompted to go inside and show the employee There my phone screen. When I went inside and let the employee know that I was supposed to show her the screen and get the key to my truck so I can go ahead and start moving the employee told me to have a seat because there’s others in front of me and I needed to wait. I then proceeded to wait 40 minutes even though I filled everything out online and was supposed to be able to just go inside and grab a key. Finally It was my turn to be helped I explained my dissatisfaction with the wait as I did a quick pick up for the U-Haul. She proceeded to tell me I needed to fill out all this paperwork and then said oh wait I guess you’re OK and everything is already filled out it’s not prompting me to do anything. Then she gave me the key. So I waited for 40 minutes for no reason when I should’ve been able to go in and show them my phone and be able to leave. Had I known I would’ve had to wait for 40 minutes I wouldn’t have selected the quick pick up I would have just selected to go in and speak with an employee or a different location. The truck I had did not have a ramp which made it difficult to move also.Overall I would not recommend this location.

BRITNEY SRented me the wrong truck and after I filled it up with $100, they asked me to bring it back. Didn’t want to refund the $100. Owner put $96 in it and told me that would do. Then she told me to bring it back full even though it was my money that filled it up. Very rude and inconsiderate.

WILLIAM SMake sure the trucks are cleaned after every use. I got charged a $25 cleaning fee for dirt that was already in the back when I got the truck. I even took pictures of it when I picked it up and they still wouldn’t refund me.
Desiree Tmake sure the cargo area isnt muddy, ensure the packing blanket bag isnt broken. the zipper was stuck and split.
