David WThe truck that I reserved was NOT at the location when I arrived. The AAA Self Storage customer service representative called to find other local UHaul's with an equivalent rental available. While waiting for the customer service representative at AAA Self Storage to locate another rental, I received a call from a UHAUL call center customer service representative informing me that I had a reservation for a mobile pickup and that my reservation would be cancelled if I did not complete the pickup. I explained to the UHAUL Call Center Customer Service Representative that I was currently at AAA Self Storage for my mobile pickup and that there was no truck available AND that the Customer Service Representative at AAA Self Storage was attempting to locate another rental locally. During all of this...the truck was returned and I was able to proceed with my reservation and rental almost an hour AFTER the scheduled time. NEXT, while driving the rental truck the ABS alert appeared on the dashboard as well as a message stating that there was a problem detected with the brakes. I placed a call to UHaul Roadside Assistance and was told to call back when I reached my destination so that they could dispatch roadside assistance. When roadside assistance arrived and completed the vehicle inspection I was informed that the tech could not determine why the brake system alarm was on and that the truck needed to be towed for maintenance and another truck would have to be provided for me to transfer my belongings to so that I could complete my move. The roadside assistance tech informed me that a call for a tow had already been placed and I would be contacted. LAST, when I attempted to return the UHaul to the location that was sent to me via text message THERE WAS NO VISIBLE DROP BOX for the key. I had to locate a nearby UHAUL location with a visible drop box and return the rental to that location instead. My experience was fraught with issues from beginning to end.

Tanya MGet rid of the app. Have a person there to check you in and give you the key. At least move the key box to the side of the building where the UHauls are kept. It took way to long to go through the process to get the truck. Also, payment was showing it was taken from my account , but three days after I turned the truck in, I got a text saying I had a balance and they you never received payment. Very shady

Kelley BThe truck that I had pulled to the right, which made it hard to drive. Also, the brakes were scary. It was very hard to come to a stop. I had requested two handtrucks and got one handtruck and one furniture dolly which the movers didn't use a single time. This is the second time that has happened.

matt eAir Conditioner on truck not working and was not told. Extremely hot day. Truck was already loaded before we found out. No explanation why truck was rented out to us with this issue. Caused major distress in moving.
Walter DI think the gas gauge was not correct. I made sure when I got in the truck to look at the paper work and the gauge. I then put the gas back literally exactly where it was. And then was charged extra for “missing gas”. A lot extra. I am not happy. The lady at the front wasn’t very friendly and I will find another location from now on.

Ellis KI could not access the check in app or website to check the trailer back in. When I rented the last trailer, same experience, I couldn't get the check in to accept the photos. This location should have some onsite who can assist with hooking up trailers. Also, hours of operation should be later. This is a very nice location and store and I like reserving from this location.

Cheryl DLittle bit confusing on where to find truck keys but managed to get it . Also originally ordered dolly with truck but did not receive it I explained this to front desk and they said they’d have the seven dollar charge removed but it was still on bill. Overall thought it was a good experience.

Maurice CMake sure equipment is available at pickup location before pickup time. I ordered doilies and hand trucks but was told they weren’t available.
Greg DI was charged for equipment I didn’t have or use. I attempted to report this in the check out process as well. If possible, a follow up about missing equipment would be awesome. I know that we had the vehicle on a closed day so just being able to refund the cost would have been best for us.
