The 26 TF truck I rented was a huge safety hazard and a danger to me and others. I called U-Haul customer service to lodge a complaint. A manager was to call me back but no one has. I will post my experience on social media with the hopes no one else will have my experience with U-Haul

Traveling over 500 miles and the air went out with almost 90degree weather. Upon return they did an adjustment in cash - didn't expect that but was pleased with the courteous staff at return location as well. Very clean and serviced ready to go upon pickup. Pleased with my experience at both locations. Thanks Uhaul!

There is never anyone in the office as this is a repair shop. I had to find someone in back to return the auto transport. He was working on a Diesel engine and was too busy to clean up and check me out. UHaul assigned this location to me...never again. I will go to a store and not rent if they don't have it.

We were overcharged for mileage. I paid what the clerk said I owed. Upon reading all the details of the transaction I noticed I was charged for 21 miles. Which was impossible. The distance from the uhaul shop to 1209 Indian ave is 1 mile. The distance to 712 Shelly lane is 1 mile. The distance back to the shop from shelly lane is .9 miles with a gas station on the same rd back to the uhaul shop. I wasn't told there was a 21 mile minimum charge for mileage. So who cashed in on the $14.22 bonus? It's not like I rent a uhaul often. So I had no clue there was dishonesty in the billing.

I had to drive 30 miles further than where my reservation was supposed to be. Then when I turned in my truck on a one way, I was charged for extra mileage. It's not right and not to mention the extra gas for the 30 miles. I will make Ryder my first call next time.

I am not a smoking and truck had been smoked in and it really bother my sinus the 6 hours while traveling. Wish the trucks were Smoke Free.

The only thing I thought was bad is you have to pay for gas and mileage when you should be rent the truck you get 25 miles free then pay for the gas or for each mile pay a mile get a mile and pay for gas and truck rental

You have to put a credit card on file to pay once rental is returned. They put a "hold" on the estimated rental price until it is returned, then they charge you the correct charge. I rented on a Friday, and as of today (the NEXT Thursday), my "estimated charges still have not credited back to my card!! I do not blame this location for this, but I DO blame U Haul!! I have spoken with them 3 different times and they assured me it would be back on my card no later than Wednesday. It was not, and still is not. I am a VERY upset customer!

Place is filthy, they had another truck in front of it that the battery was dead etc. and it took over an hour to pick up the truck. I called that morning and asked if we could come early and she said yes. Don't go here!

This was by far the nicest people I have ever dealt with from U-haul! This lady went way out of her way to help me yesterday. Service is getting hard to find today, but these folks haven't forgotten how to treat people and make them happy. I hope you will let them know they are doing an awesome job for you all.

This location was unaware of a reservation that was made with another location. The paperwork was not there.

the lady that rented the truck was rude and didnt seem to care about us at all and they didnt have our full rent order,we ordered a dolly and they wouldnt give us one,also the truck was behind on matience,oil change required was flashing.

This was a business rental-I rented online and sent a driver to pick it up. They wouldn't release the vehicle without a credit card from me & had to call me-the other Uhaul location I was dealing with the same day had no other issues, and were able to use the card I had on file. Person on phone was very hard to hear and very abrubt-not nice at all.

We reserved a Uhaul at the the Lafayette location on 27 highway, less than 24 hours before scheduled pick up I received a call stating that we would have to go to another location about 15-20 miles away. We also reserved an appliance dolly. When we arrived they informed us they didn't supply those and would have to go to another facility. We were advised to go back to the location we originally reserved uhaul. I went back ther and they didn't have an appliance dolly either. They suggested i go to another facility in ringgold and they might have one. Needles to say I'm not very pleased with the whole experience.

I was guaranteed a 26' truck, a utility dolley, an appliance dolley, and 6 dozen furniture pads. The location only had the truck, which they had to repair while I waited. I had to go to another location for the other items, and never got all of the pads that I had ordered.

Although the pricing was good and the equipment was fine, the people were not friendly, no smiles or "how are you today". The one thing that really got me is that most people don't drive 26' trucks every day and this place doesn't bother having them backed in for the customers. I had to back around other trucks and hauling equipment and wasn't real sure I wasn't going to run over something or someone. I think the company should make sure that you can at least get out of the parking area easily. Other than that, the everything worked out fine.
