I called Abby's mini storage to confirm my pick up and received great service. My only complaints are that the truck had one tire with very low tire pressure and had to find a tire shop to assist. The other was that the AC did not work. Please these two were inconveniences.Art P.

Everything was fine with the facility and customer service. The truck itself had engine problems and made for a very dangerous drive home. Engine would sputter and not gain speed or maintain speed.Kevin C.
Again I got charged for the first truck that didn't work the entire amount, and then again for the second truck!! Not to mention I had to fill the gas tank for both!!! Also the extra time and moving my things out of one truck into another by myself. Plus, time out of my day for company's equipment that was not working. 2nd truck worked but was charged again. Customer experience was horrible, upon arrival to the location the representative told me that I was not able to check out the van because it was 4:30 and had reservations set for 3:30. I was told that they didn't allow any checkouts after 3:30. No where online when I did the reservation was I made aware of this policy. The representative was rude and short did not make me feel appreciated to be doing business with them. She told me that she was do it for me since it was an online reservation but that the van would be dirty and not clean. I told her I really needed the reservation so I was okay with cleaning it afterwards because I would have to either way to return it. The paper said I had 7/8 gas tank when I got in the truck I took a picture of dashboard to show that it was not what it said it needed to be at. There was no issues with the van. Upon return the representative was made aware I had an uber waiting for me and I asked if I needed to confirm any information I was told no. I waited a few extra minutes with her as she went out to the van to finalize the charges. I was not made aware that she would be charging me for gas tank when I filled it just as I received it just below the 7/8 tank. I do believe it is the responsibility of the representative to make the customer aware of what is being charged not just saying a total. I had believe that the total was from just milage charges and not for gas. If I would have know I would have addressed the issue then.HECTOR J.

I reserved the truck for 8am and was given the wrong lock combination. I called Uhaul and they said they couldn't help and to ask for assistance. There was no one available until 8:30 and she was late and didn't get there until 8:35. She then said she put the wrong combo and it wasn't â€œPONYâ€ it was â€œGATEâ€ I had rented this truck to transport a backdrop for a wedding and I was late for the wedding. She did not apologize. I will never use uhaul again. I want my money back and I will make sure everyone knows of the terrible service I received. The truck was also very dirty and I had to take time to clean it.KayLoni R.

I have pictures to prove that this is the filthiest U-Haul truck I have ever driven. But the topper was I was 30 minutes late returning the truck and the U-Haul representative on site knew that I was on the grounds unloading the truck and still charge me an extra day for it for the furniture pads for the truck and for the the insurance thing. Now did I get upset when I didn't get to pick up the truck on time because my reservation disappeared out of the system after I had received a call from the location confirming my reservation. No it happens. So I don't get the truck for 27 minutes till after when I was supposed to get it but let me return it 30 minutes late and I get charged a whole another day. Unbelievable. This will put an end to my relationship with U-Haul guaranteed.Sharon M.

Inspect the truck before renting it out! Check Engine light was on! The truck was dirty with keft over food and it clearly was unsanitized or wiped down. Also the mileage on the speedometer was 11 miles more than what was on the paperwork given to me leaving the office.Mariana P.

First off, I would like to thank the staff at the Abby's Mini Storage location for making a terrible situation better. I had originally reserved a 26' UHaul truck at the Williams Street Carson City location one month in advance. I had to take time off of work, my wife took time off of work, as well as, my daughter taking time off of work to move our belongings from Carson City Nevada to Twin Oaks California. I reserved a motel for the weekend, as we were coming from out of town. I booked moving help, through your sister company to help us move, which had to be paid in advance. The day prior to us departing I was notified at 11:39 am that the truck was not available. All the planning that went into moving our belongings was potentially ruined. I called the Carson City UHaul and was told essentially tough luck, there was nothing they were willing to do. Based on my experience, I would not recommend UHaul to anyone due to the fact that I was told it was company policy that they could notify the customer the day prior to a rental that a rental was unavailable. I reserved that vehicle a month in advance, pathetic. I have over 3.5 million viewers on my social media page, and I have documented this entire escapade for them to see and judge for themselves. The customer service at the location was very good. However, once I got to the truck I found it to be quite dirty. The windows were streaked as though someone attempted to clean them with a squeegee, but just smeared it. The back of the truck had what appears to be debris from tree trimmings. So much so that I had to sweep it before we loaded our furniture. That being said, the vehicle ran perfectly and got us to our destination without any problem.DAVID M.

I had called ahead of my scheduled time to pick up my U-Haul and the phone was never answered which to me wasnt a big deal. I thought maybe they were busy.
