Leopoldo D.The gas left needs to be taken into consideration when charging for the milage being over 281. I started with less than 1/4 of a tank and I returned it with over 3/4 worth of gas and you still charged for extra milage. With gas prices the way they are you got at least $50 worth of gas and you charged me over $80 for the extra miles. For this reason I will never use uhaul again and will definitely make the recommendation not to use.
Logan L.The vehicle kept overheating. When I called hot assistance I was told they aren't a mechanic shop and don't service the vehicles. I was traveling with my toddler and kept having to stop along the highway to allow the vehicle to cool down. This is not acceptable.

elvin S.The problem was not this location. The problem was four seasons in Gonzales, La. My original pick up was for the day before but either uhaul or the lady at location did not keep my credit card on record I had given. I came in three weeks early to do everything only to have my reservation cancelled. Then calling uhaul was no help as the reps we're rude, condescending and unhelpful. Repeating over and over not their problem we had t put a credit card on file…we had at the location. Had to make a new reservation at a location 1.5 hours away each direction. They didn't have moving blankets causing much of our items to get ripped or scuffed. Needless to say using uhaul was NOT a great experience. I could go in about how uhaul corporate would not help or claim “independent†locations as part of uhaul a not own the mistakes, nor help after the mess up, nor discount even after I found the uhaul truck I needed and hour and a half away and the list goes on.

Michael J.Rental was extended due to extenuating circumstances with my storage unit the day before due to a power outage. I was billed a second day but told to immediately return the rental. I am upset I was told to return the rental but billed for an additional day.

matthew K.I requested rental of a furniture dolly and confirmation that one would be available was sent by email, yet when I got to the location they didn't have one available. I was then forced to purchase one at my final destination. That's my only negative experience.

DOUGLAS E.After I paid, the 100 deposit and signed the paperwork I ask if I could leave my car parked overnight at Your U-Haul Facility. (Ronda Caballero) told me it was safe and that there was Cameras on property that record outside and inside. I left my car parked than I left with the U-Haul truck. I returned at about 3:30am next morning. My car had about 7/8 of a tank a gas. I noticed when I got in that there was only about 3/8 of a tank of gas in my car. With that said, I can Not and Will Not recommend Your U-Haul Facility, on 1301 W St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560. I went today at about 11am I spoke with (Ronda Caballero) again told her I had a issue with my car about the gas being Siphoned off on your side on your property. I asked her about the Surveillance cameras that she had told me my car would be safe parked on the property. I than asked her again if there where Surveillance cameras she told me No, in front of several other customers that were standing there. I than turned told about 5 Customers that were standing there do not park and not leave your car overnight that there car's where Not safe to leave overnight. I will use Another rental truck company, if and when I need to rent a truck again I cannot recommend you company.

HUBERT G.Make contacting the facility easier. Spend too much time navigating your online menu to end up with no help at all. The person in charge of the Peter street storage facility could not have cared less of the difficulties I encountered. Not a pleasant experience but certainly a costly one.
