Went to pick up trailer in Mazomanie, WI (where our reservation was suppose to be) and they did not have a trailer! The lady at Mazo hardware location called around and found us a trailer in Middleton which was 22 miles further away. This was not a good experience with U-HaulKim W.

We rented a van for a small move. We went about 480 miles. The experience using the van was good, but I did feel it was a bit pricey. Rather than give us a full tank when renting it, it was a bit over half a tank. You have to return it the same or above or they charge you. Its a bit hard to get it just slightly over half a tank. We were also quoted the first 300 miles are free, but when we went to pick it up it was only 125. Hmmm, at that point it was too late, we needed it and didn't have time to argue. Other than that, I would rent it again.Roderick P.

Josh and Tony were both wonderful, so helpful for truck rental and paint. The 2 young ladies that helped us a check out were just as great. Only regret - wished I would have ordered the truck earlier to get a smaller 1. You have a really great staff here!!! I work in customer service, do a survey maybe once every 2 - 3 years and know how hard it is to get quallity help. I have never been disappointed in the 3 Madison, WI Ace Hardware stores we do business at - Here, Hilldale and on University Ave!PAMELA S.
My issue isn't the location or the the vehicle it is the process for checking in. 1. Signed up for the online checkin But then had to go in The store to finish it 2. Wasn't told ahead of time needed a copy of my insurance 3. It took almost 1 agonizing hour to check in and finally get the vehicle 4. The trolley was suppose to be in the vehicle and it wasn't. We left and had to return to get it AND we had to pay for the mileage for itLaura O.

UHaul web site was incorrect and caused many delays. We really wanted to rent a van, and reserved one on the UHaul web site, however at pickup we realized this location never gets any vans, so we used a larger truck instead. The location itself did a great job handling this problem. UHaul should do a better job on their web site.BAOYUN G.

The personnel at this location helped get everything straightened out with my reservation. The U-Haul online rental procedure is one of the most convoluted processes I've ever had to navigate. This location was not my requested location. I had booked a one way trailer rental, and it registered me for a round trip rental from my requested drop off location. When I corrected the pick up location, it altered my rental agreement to a 24 hour rental when I had requested a 2 day rental. Overall I am extremely unsatisfied with how difficult it is to rent a trailer from U-Haul. If I have the option, I will not be using them in the future.LUKAS JAMES B.
I was charged !5.82 for a wrong drop off fee? When I rented, I didn't no a specific drop off, I was told that was fine. nobody said there was a additional fee's because I didn't select a location. Have clearer signage of where to inquire or locate the proper desk for U-haul business. It is close to the hardware's checkout register & when busy there the person didn't need one more person to deal with nor does a uHaul customer need to stand through a line to learn he should be one desk over where there never was a line at all.Gary D.

I selected "Mobile Pick Up" on your website, but when I came to this location "Ace Hardware 677, 2540 Allen Blvd", the app did not allow me to pick up at all! I had to find the staff in the store. Also I did not select "Damage protection" on line, but the staff changed my order and added it in my receipt.Minjie S.
Nothing with the location. My issue is I was unable to book the Uhaul for long than 24hrs unless I wanted to pay for 2 days when I needed it for 28 hrs. I was charged another $60 for for 4 hrs when I paid $80 for the 24hrs. Very irritating. I will just pay a moving company next time. I am done with uhaulMason J.
