Sadly this was an extremely poor experience which started with arriving at the designated pick up spot to find no vehicles available. I called U-Haul and the representative told me that the vehicles are at another location (a completely separate plaza) and that we have to be with the vehicle in order to check in. With that information we drove to the specified location only to find that we had to be at the original location to initiate the check in process. So we drive back; check in and get the keys then drive back to begin the long process of photos. The vehicle was dirty, in the cab and the back and there was a change engine oil soon light on. My boyfriend followed me to the first destination only to inform me that both brake lights and the left turn signal were out. This is an unacceptable danger to not only me as the driver but also those on the road who were not able to see that I was signaling a lane change or turn or when I was breaking. At the end of our usage we return the vehicle to the designated parking spot only to realize that we cannot begin checkout until we were back at the Ace Vacuums location which again, is not in the same plaza. We drive our personal vehicle to Ace and then realize we must take another series of photos to check out so we have to drive back to the vehicle. I had taken photos but was unable to upload them and was forced to use the app to take photos. We then drove back to drop the keys. All of this could be easily solved by providing the check in/out information ahead of time via text or email. I even googled pick up at Ace Vacuums knowing this was a strange location to pick up trucks and did not find any information. My boyfriend and I will need another truck later this year but will not be using U-Haul due to this extremely inconvenient and overly difficult process.

BILLY NManager of store initially turned me away due to their location “not taking trailers” for return, and sent me on a goose chase around the town and needing several calls to corporate Uhaul to force a dropoff at their location. They then did not check the trailer in when they said they would on the day of dropoff, requiring yet another call to corporate to force them to put it in their system.

MARUF NUnhal needs to mark the return address appropriately as this location will not allow you to leave truck at location listed on contract! You as the consumer are inconvenienced to find the hidden return location that you can't find without help. I do appreciate the employee helping my husband find it but corporate needs to update the contracts to reflect the real return location as you have to walk back to drop off the key very inconvenient and moving is stressful enough without adding to it

This was my third rental in two weeks and I had to go through a process for the first time to verify my identity, which caused my pickup to be delayed by 45 minutes. Having to drive back and forth between the key pickup and vehicle location was also not convenient. Would absolutely not rent from this location again.

Karen NVery easy pick up and drop off. The pick up location did not have any blanket packs - we had them on our order - they did not mention this at pick up. I had to call them and received the information then after we had picked up our truck. It did not end up being a big deal but could have been. They should let you know upon placing and order and confirming it.

ROBERT LComputers were down and took us an hour to get our truck which had been previously rented. This was disappointing because we drove 3 hours to get there and were under the gun for a move. They gave us 21 extra miles to compensate.
LOWELL JTruck was covered in snow and ice. A good hour of the time I had it rented for I had to go buy a scraper and scrape off the snow and ice. I also had to drop the truck at a different location than I picked it up at, so my wife and sleeping baby had to drive me from that location to my car which was parked where I got the truck. Also $.99 a mile? That’s absolutely criminal I will never rent a U-Haul again. Something I thought would cost $40-50 to move a table ended up costing me $100 ridiculous for 2 hours of my day one of which was spent scraping ice and snow off the truck.
Marcus MTruck was dirty inside. Spilled drink and a wrapper. Trucks are not near the truck office. Fuel was half full. Very difficult to get the gauge where it was. Full would be much better and normal. Final invoice sent yet no number. I wanted a 20 foot truck and had to take a 15. Not a good experience. I would get the next one from Lowe’s or Home Depot - Penske.
BRADLEY GHi there, I am an avid Uhaul supporter, but this time i was really dissapointed. I am not sure of the protocol, but when I got there the uhaul was surrounded by snow. I understand I had requested a change in location the day before, but the location was open all day of pick up. I was not prepared to dig out a uhaul of the snow. Not only that, but when my movers begun, they notified me that there was a leak. It was in the front right and there was a puddle. I was able to put towels down so nothing got damaged. At least I had a full tank, unlike last time where I was left on legitimate empty.

Travis WLocation was very hard to find and the drop-off process was very complex and confusing. The key drop box is at one location and then you have to drive to a different location to drop off the truck, then return to drop the key off.
ANTONIO EIt would be great if they had some furniture pads. They did direct me to a nearby U-Haul location to get them, but it would have been easier to pick them up there.

IAN JTook over 45 minutes to pick it up. Did mobile pickup, had to go inside to grab keys, He took my license again and gave me the keys after a while. Went out to the truck that was on my phone and the keys did not work. Went back inside to tell him and he told us to try from the passenger side door because he too had trouble with it. Told him we tried that and he said it was not the right truck. He updated it in his system and we had to go to Jersey mikes to pickup the truck. The app would not allow me to take pictures of anything but the condition of the truck was fine besides a few scuff marks that I went ahead and took pictures of before we drove off anyways. Just a long process.
Dixie Soverall my experience was very favorable. I was able to get the type of truck I needed in the time frame I needed it. my only issue is that the parking are for the truck is rather far away, for both pick up and returns. Both of the associates I dealt with were friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend this place to someone looking for a rental truck.
Christian ASo at ace there is no drop off. You need to drive the vehicle to a parking lot. It wasn’t terrible but I brought the truck to Ace since that is where it says to return the truck. It wasn’t hard to find the parking lot but it isn’t close to Ace.

Eddie MDrop off location (address) is very poor. I dropped off the truck, completed the return protocol, placed the key in the drop box, and as I was leaving I was approached by a gentleman in a black truck telling me I couldn’t park at the drop off location and needed to move the truck more than a 1/4 mile away behind a shopping mall. Very inconvenient and not listed on the return instructions.

Nina TI recently rented a car from U-Haul, and I was sadly underwhelmed by the whole process. While the truck itself was fine, there were several frustrating issues. The first issue was that the truck pickup location was far from the place where I got the keys. People were friendly and place was clean thou. Second, upon returning the car, I was surprised by a sizable extra charge for gas. My calculations and the fuel estimate suggested this wasn't accurate. When I tried to question this, their customer service was unresponsive. Additionally, their return policy is inconvenient. There's no interaction with staff onsite, making it difficult to verify any fuel level disputes, specially when the truck was received and returned with 1/4 tank full. Overall, my experience with U-Haul felt unreliable and frustrating. I will be using a different truck rental agency next time.

E it her of which were the location I picked to pick up from in addition I was told to be there for pick up at 7 when they didn’t open till 8 in addition to that I purchased two rolls of plastic wrap which were NOT included although I got a refund no one had the decency to inform me I would be without this essential for my move
Sara AThe set up of this place is ridiculous. The trucks are stored a mile away. I got to the store to check in and the staff was temporarily gone. So I did the online check in process which was long and flawed. I had to start the process over three times. It tells me to drive to the van to finish the check in process. I did that only to be told to now drive back to the store to get the key. Checking in was just as bad. I tried to park it where I got it, start the check in process but it would not let me check it in until I was back at the store. Then to complete the check in I had to drive it back to the lot. Just a very frustrating process. Once I parked it I had to take the keys back to the store. There really ought to be a better way. Will never use this location again!!!
Donna DVery good experience overall. Though I used about 10miles less than I estimated and returned truck and hour earlier and no refund. I’m not sure if they do give back but it’s something to ask before renting.

Chris HAccording to the directions on the app, I had to return the truck to Ace Vacuums, the business location for the truck rental. After a long day, I drove to the spot where the trucks are kept, about a mile down the road, and saw the app directions to return to the business location. So I drove down there, only to see a sign on the door that said I had to return the truck to the original pick up place (a mile down the road, where I had just come from). Then I had to drive the truck there and have my wife drive me back to Ace Vacuums to drop off the key. Very convoluted process and contradictory instructions on the app and the door. Not what you want at the end of a long day. Also, the dome light did not work, nor the light in the bed of the truck. Also, less than half a tank of gas and there was a McDonalds trash in the cab.

james pCar was at 1/8th tank when I picked up and to not get charged they said to fill it up to a 1/4 (more gas than I used). We ordered accessories but the location did not have them.
