There is no U Haul Roseville location. We drove back and forth looking for it. Finally we found it parked at a rental car place. This was not clearly communicated and very frustrating.leslie W.

I had used the UHaul app to set up a contactless pickup, got the confirmations, etc. I show up, login, and the message is that it's an inperson pickup. So I have to wait almost a hour for a person to show up and handle the pickup. Very frustrating. The truck was great, the person was fine, but the experience was a pretty bad way to start a moving day.Mark G.

My only issue was with the hired â€œmoversâ€ 8hrs to load a 20' truck is insane. Charged me an extra $400 on my CC and we didn't even get it unloaded leaving me with an extra days charge.Nikki S.

Update the Uhaul mobile app so I can only reserve a location's available units. I reserved a truck via the mobile app only to have someone contact me to change location. The new location was Acorn Mini Storage in Roseville, and they hadn't assigned the equipment, so I was unable to check it out via contactless method. The guy at the store didn't go over any of the details of my rental contract, what the starting fuel/mileage was. He gave me keys and said we'll figure it out later. I then received 3 phone calls from a local Uhaul representative for the details normally addressed prior to leaving with the truck such as fuel/mileage. Returning the truck, I was again unable to check it in via mobile app, so I had to leave the keys in the drop box and hope for the best. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience renting at this location.Jonathan P.

The person (Rich) was friendly and helpful as much as he could be. My order included four (4) 6-packs of packing blankets, one (1) utility dolly, and two (2) furniture dollies. However, when I arrived at the facility he informed me that the site only had one (1) 6-pack of packing blankets and one (1) utility dolly. Rich informed me that the site does not check inventory/availability for equipment ordered; that is ridiculous. I had to move that day and needed the equipment. That is completely unacceptable that a company would allow customers to order supplies (that are crucial and time sensitive) without regard to the companies ability to supply the items. Rich instructed me to another site at which I got the supplies that I needed. So on the day that I needed to move and only had a limited time to do it, I was forced to drive to another facility Additionally, when I tried the mobile app to check the truck back in, the ability to take and attach a photo of the odometer and fuel gauge did not work; I tried it several times. Everything went well... except someone stole the packing blankets I reserved out of the truck before we had arrived. The staff notified me so were able to find alternatives and they did take that charge off of my fee right away so we were able to take care of it. The staff pushed us to take the free extra hour and they were right about that. Thanks!Peter O.

Manager at check-in was nothing but nice and helpful. I was also surprised how nifty/advanced your vans are. Having a rear camera was super helpful, along with lights in the back. Will be renting from you again in the future. Only complaint is the $20 drop-off fee - that's steep. I didn't use this service because I was able to check-in online but I can see how people with little or no technology/English skills or don't own a smartphone would find the online check-in process is a bit complex and forced to use the employee check-in service. I didn't have a problem but I can see how others potentially could.CINDY X.

But I would warn the friend about the drop off process. The app did NOT lead me to upload the photo of the odometer. A handout sheet with the steps or else an app that leads naturally to the upload would be much better. I didn't know it was required. The location and gentleman that helped us was outstanding and went above and beyond to accommodate us. However, U Haul's service throughout this experience was absolutely atrocious. We had the truck cancelled on us twice in as many days, and we ended up not even receiving the dolly we originally paid for. This caused a great deal more amount of effort required for us to load our truck and we arrived an hour and a half late to our lease signing as a result. We were very disappointed.Dmitry H.
