We rented a bigger U-Haul at the end March 2025 and paid only 58 dollars and rented on a Saturday. We rented a cargo van for supposedly 19.95 and were charged 95.98 never will go to Acorn Storage again they even made it more complicated. Way overpriced 😟

This was the 2nd time we rented space from Acorn and each time we have been treated fairly and professionally by the staff. The facility is conveniently located and accessible. Security is very good and the facility is clean and well lighted. We will definitely use Acorn if needed in the future.

The van we rented had an odor to it. We rent from this location often and get this van often but it always has an odor to it. The location is great and we like the ladies who run it they are the reason we come back each time. Thank you!

Why does u haul let you rent a 4 wheel dolly days ahead of time to find out they didn't have any to rent out in months. They credited my account, but it made my move MUCH more difficult. DON'T LET A SIGHT AGREE TO RENT WHAT THEY DONT HAVE. I would have used a different pick up location.

Upon pickup, the fuel tank was 3/4 full. The agent was aware of the issue. I was required to return the truck with a full tank. I did not receive any credit for the extra fuel I replaced.

From the phone call to reserve the truck, to instructions, and return — everything was great. I’m sorry, I can’t remember the woman’s name, but she was the reason all went well. The day we picked up the truck, it had snowed about 4 inches, the truck had been cleaned of snow and was warmed up and ready for us. Wonderful customer service. I will recommend this particular U-Haul facility. Thank you.

We did not receive an appliance dolly even though it was paid for. And then we had to extend the time we had the uhaul TWICE because of this. Had to pay over double what we intended.

In my business, I do many trade shows throughout the year. It used to be, that one of the things I hated the most, was needing to rent a U-Haul for my shows. In the past 2 years since I discovered Acorn Storage on Erie Ave. in Massillon, Its been one of the easiest things I have to do! The wonderful ladies that work for Acorn Storage are the nicest, most helpful, and made the task of renting a U-Haul so easy and a pleasure! I had to return my U-Haul to this place location they were not open I could not down my load my app signin and into it so I had to wait online for 15 minutes to talk to someone and they wanted me to take pictures but I heard already back put gas in the truck and backed it up so I took pictures of it and I finally said to the woman that I had been standing there for over an hour trying to return this and I just wanted to go home and be done because it wasn't doing what I wanted it to do first of all you shouldn't send somebody to a place to return a truck if there's nobody there in person that's all I have to say.

The middle black gate caused it to be hard to see straight behind you, moreover, almost caused multiple accidents. There was a lot of dirt and stuff in the van and under the seat.

Our truck smelled very bad in the box. I had to spray it down with Lysol twice. Smelled like something died in it. Gas gauge did not work either.

Just keep doing what you’ve been doing…this is the second time I’ve used this U-Haul Rental, and the ladies at Acorn Storage on Erie St. are second to no one! They are so helpful, and work to get you the best deal they can for you. I rent U-Hauls 4-5 times a year, and I will definitely be calling them when the next time comes around. I rented this unit for several years. I just cancelled my unit a few weeks before my rent was due but was told I couldn't get any refund. I don't. I don't think that is fair

The staff is the best part of acorn! So friendly and just great people. I never returned to my unit until the day I moved out of it. No signs of mice or bed bugs. A few spiders and stink bugs but that is to be expected. Great value and very nice secure facilities.
